Small screen bosses areworking on a new series cal-led Gotham, which will tellthe story of Police Commiss-ioner James Gordon andwill be set long before Bat-man turns up to save thecity from bad guys.
It is believed the CapedCrusader himself, who willbe played by Ben Affleck ina new movie, will not fea-ture in the show, which willbe broadcast on the Ameri-can Fox network.
Gordon was previouslyplayed by Gary Oldman inChristopher Nolan’s DarkKnight trilogy, while PatHingle played him in fourprevious films and NeilHamilton held the role in1960s TV series Batman, allbased on the DC Comics.
It is not known if the showwill air in Australia.
