Congratulations to the 58 children that made their First Communion at St. Louis on Sunday, May 7, 2017
I would like to thank the children for their enthusiasm throughout the preparation, practices and at the ceremony. Their
excitement was contagious. Thanks, also, to the parents for their encouragement, support and commitment in continuing to
raise their children in the Catholic faith, getting them to Mass every Sunday. I would also like to thank the teachers and
catechists, Jan Narwold, Tammy Roell, Karen Bruns and Terri Nobbe, for their hard work and dedication in preparing the
children. The fruit of their labor was unmistakably revealed in the children on Sunday.
I am blessed to work with such a great team!
Thanks to Mike Fritsch, Susan Kohrman and the Choir for the making the ceremony so beautiful with the music. I would also
like to thank Fr. Stan, Deacon Ron, the servers, the sacristan, the Eucharistic Ministers, ushers, those who handed out
programs, and all who helped prepare for and clean up after the ceremony. It takes many hands to make it all happen!
Finally, I would like to thank the parishioners for praying our candidates. It was a great day! Thank you! Sincerely, Amy Tonges
