For Troubleshooting about the Error HIPS not detected on AT&T Global Network Client
Please Follow the Troubleshooting steps belowRight Click on the Mcafee Icon from the System Tray
open Host Intrusion Protection under Manage Features
Click on Task and Click on Unlock Interface. Enter the !att-g0ld! Password to unlock the console
Uncheck Enable Host IPS under IPS Policy
Click on Help and on Troubleshooting
Check The Option, Show product in Add/Remove Programs list
\If the Above steps are not followed, we will not be able to see McAfee Hips under Programs and Features to uninstall the Program
Now go to Control Panel Programs and Features
Uninstall Mcafee Host Intrusion Protection, Restart the computer once the program is uninstalled.
Now initiate the download of McAfee HIPS from the FTP
ftp://135.65.55.25/HIPS/mip0804w.exe and Save this to the computer as the File Size is 150 MB
Install the Setup file mip0804w.exe
Restart the computer once the installation is completed.
Try connecting to AT&T Global Network Client and issue would be resolved.If there is an error for Anti-Virus not updated while connecting to AT&T Global Network Client Please Follow the Below Troubleshooting steps
Install ePO agent on the computer from softwarestore.sbc.com
Right Click on McAfee icon from the system tray
Open McAfee Agent Status Monitor
Click on Enforce Policies
Please wait till status column has, Next Policy enforcement in 60 minutes
Restart the computer
Right Click on McAfee icon from the system tray
Select Update Security
Wait for the Update to finish
Restart the computer. The issue would be fixed.
