GoalsWhy do we write goals?
![Page 11: Ict’s diplomado ab cs](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062523/58ef723d1a28ab3b7a8b4613/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)

How to write a good objective
One quick and easy way is to use the ABCD method:
AUDIENCE
BEHAVIOR
CONDITION
DEGREE
(source: Writing Objectives, Pennsylvania State University, http://ets.tlt.psu.edu/learningdesign/objectives/writingobjectives/)
![Page 13: Ict’s diplomado ab cs](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062523/58ef723d1a28ab3b7a8b4613/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
A = Audience
Who? Who are the learners?
![Page 14: Ict’s diplomado ab cs](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062523/58ef723d1a28ab3b7a8b4613/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
B = Behavior
What? What do you want your learners do?
This must be an observable, measurable behavior.
Use a strong, action verb.
![Page 15: Ict’s diplomado ab cs](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062523/58ef723d1a28ab3b7a8b4613/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
C = Condition
How? What are the circumstances or context of the learning?
What will the student be given to accomplish the learning?
![Page 16: Ict’s diplomado ab cs](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062523/58ef723d1a28ab3b7a8b4613/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
D = Degree
How much? To what degree of mastery?
How much do you want accomplished? How well do you want something done? What is passing? What is acceptable?
![Page 17: Ict’s diplomado ab cs](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062523/58ef723d1a28ab3b7a8b4613/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
