In Italian, a metro is a measuring stick designed to measure a base measurement – that of the metre – from which multiples and fractions can be obtained. Luca Nichetto’s METRO sofa, a modular interior decorating solution, embodies the same sense of measurement through its versatile combination of multiple modules. The sofa’s defining modularity results both from its structure, whose length can varied to accommodate one or more people, and from its cushions, which are designed to allow the creation of anything from a one-seat armchair to a couch with multiple seats according to one’s needs. Due to its versatility, METRO can be used in professional environments ranging from small spaces, like waiting rooms, to much larger ones, such as hotel lobbies.

Poltrona girevole con struttura in pressofusione di alluminio, monoscocca in poliuretano stampato a freddo ignifugo ed esente da CFC, con telaio interno in tubolare di acciaio elettrosaldato. Rivestimento in pelle o tessuto con cuciture a vista evidenziate da ribattiture. Braccioli in pressofusione di alluminio. Poggiabraccio imbottito e rivestito. Per la Elle 01 è disponibile un meccanismo oscillante (GO) alloggiato all’interno dello schienale e con supporto di una forcella in pressofusione di alluminio. Due pomellini posti alla base dello schienale permettono di regolare la resistenza dello schienale in rapporto al peso dell’utilizzatore e il blocco del movimento oscillante. Elevazione a gas. Basamento in pressofusione di alluminio lucidato, verniciato bianco o nero. Ruote piroettanti cromate a doppio battistrada, autofrenanti, dure o gommate.

METRO è un sistema di imbottiti composto da elementi modulari, disponibile in 54 configurazioni diverse. La modularità è conferita sia dalla struttura, disponibile in più dimensioni, che dai cuscini, anch’essi in tre diverse misure. In questo modo si creano, a seconda delle esigenze, una poltrona monoposto o un divano a più posti con sedute modulari. Materiali e finiture Struttura: acciaio verniciato rosso, nero o bianco. Cuscini: imbottiti con viscosa elastica riciclata e rivestiti in pelle, lana o ecopelle.

Divano multifunzionale, disponibile nelle varianti panca senza schienale o con schienale fisso, particolarmente indicato per zone attesa e relax.La struttura interna è in massello di betulla spessore 40 mm tamburato in MDF. Il telaio di rinforzo perimetrale è realizzato in tubo di acciaio Ø 16 x 2 mm con finitura cromata. Appoggia su piedini a puntale in alluminio pressofuso opportunamente sagomati e lucidati, dotati di elemento terminale di appoggio a terra in nylon antiscivolo. Il sedile ha una imbottitura in poliuretano flessibile con densità 40 kg/m³ con inserito, nella parte superiore, uno strato di 5 mm di materiale “LENTAMEMORIA” con densità 50 kg/m per migliorare il confort della seduta. Il tutto è rivestito con fibra poliestere da 100 gr/m. Lo schienale ha una imbottitura in poliuretano flessibile con densità 30 kg/ m³ ed è rivestito interamente in poliestere da 100 gr/m. Completa la gamma un elemento mobile portaoggetti, realizzato in multistrato opportunamente curvato a caldo e laminato grigio metallizzato.

The seat is padded with flexible polyurethane with a density of 40 kg/m³, with a 5mm layer of “ Lentamemoria “ padding in the top with a density of 50 kg/m³ to make the seat even more comfortable. The seats are covered in polyester fibre fabric with a weight of 100 g/m. The back is padded in flexible polyurethane with a density of 30 kg/m³, entirely covered in polyester fabric with a weight of 100 g/m. The collection is completed by a loose top, in heat-curved plywood with laminate coating and metallic grey finish.
