Nosework Request-Cookie Tins
Needed The Nosework program is in need of
cookie tins (empty of course). If anyone
has any leftover cookie tins like those that hold cookies
at the holidays; the program can use them for
container searches. If you have a donation, please place
it on top of the Nosework cabinet in the loading dock.

AKC Rally® Workshop for Intermediate,
Advanced and Excellent Levels at ODTC Presenters: Dianne Harab, present ODTC Rally instructor

10:00am – 3:00pm
Come and learn the skills necessary to teach your dog the upper level Rally signs with confidence! First, your dog must have a basic understanding of the Novice Rally signs. During this seminar several exercises from each level will be demonstrated and instruction will be given to each team on the floor. We will be demonstrating the exercises in two rings. Near the end of the workshop, you have the option to test your skills and run your dog thru a regulation Rally course.
Working spot: ODTC members $45. / non-members $55. (Limit 12) Auditing spot: ODTC members $35. / non-members $45. (unlimited)
Online registration for working or auditing spot is required. Payment is required at
the time you register.

Trials STEWARDS ARE NEEDED
for AKC Rally Trials. We will be
hosting two trials on Saturday and
two trials on Sunday (morning and
afternoon each day). We will need
four (4) stewards per ring (gate
steward, table steward, ring
steward, and timer). No
experience necessary. We will
train!

Debbie Kaminski has been training dogs for competition for 31 years. She became a member of
Oriole DTC in 2001 and began teaching rally classes before it became an official AKC event. In
addition to teaching rally, she has also presented a few seminars on the subject. Her greatest rally
achievements were with her German Pinscher “Indy”. She earned numerous titles and awards in
both AKC and APDT Rally. In 2010, Indy was #1 in the Working Group for AKC Novice Rally. In
2014, she won the Excellent Rally division at the All Star Performance Dog Association’s Rally
Tournament in York, PA.
Dianne Harab started obedience training at Capital Dog Training Club in January 2006. There she
taught beginning and intermediate Rally Classes for the past nine years. She has acted as Rally Judge
for the 4H Club at the Montgomery County Fair and for several years she managed the Rally Training
Group at Capital DTC. In addition to instructing at Capital DTC, she instructs the Rally Novice class
at Oriole DTC. Her first obedience Dog, Reese, a Field Spaniel earned RN, RA, RE titles, as well as,
Hershey her brother. Her current field spaniel, Evans’ Bosco Boy earned RN, RA, RE and Bosco’s
son, Liz Ann’s Golden Ticket (Willy) earned RN, RA and RE titles.
CANINE CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC INFORMATION Sandra Ziemski DVM, CVA, CAVCA is scheduled for monthly visits by appointment only at the Oriole Dog Training Club to provide animal chiropractic, acupuncture and cold laser therapy for our 4-legged teammates. Her normal schedule is the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month between the hours of 1:00pm – 6:00pm with the last appointment at 5:45. To schedule an appointment on the 2nd Monday of the month, please contact Charlene at [email protected]. To schedule an appointment on the 4th Monday of the month, please contact Margaret at [email protected]. If your canine companion needs to be seen by Dr. Ziemski prior to an upcoming Oriole clinic, please check out her locations and availability at Balanced Action Canine Therapy. Next clinic dates are:

Linda Hulbert with Porsche had a good weekend at Oriole Dog Training Club's AKC Agility
trial. On Friday, she got a triple Q, placing 4th in Master FAST, Master Standard and Master
Jumpers With Weaves and getting 5 points in Time 2 Beat, Saturday she Q'd in Master Standard
and got 9 points in Time 2 Beat, and on Sunday she got QQ #28, placing 2nd in Master Standard,
and placed 1st in Time 2 Beat. All this means is that she needs 43 points for her MACH, 2 triple Q's
for her TQX and 3Q's and 10 points in Time 2 Beat for her T2B3. That is my little Wonder Girl!
Kim Culp and Trouble earned their Flyball Master title.
Rob Novak with Sadie earned their FMCh - Sadie and her shiny new Flyball Master Champion title.
Sara Tagget with Desi is the first American Hairless Terrier to earn AKC Scentwork Advanced
Title and AKC Scentwork Excellent Title! There are no AHT who have earned AKC Scentwork
Master title.... could be Desi!
Sara Tagget with Desi earned her Master Exterior title Desi at the Durham, NC AKC trial. She
is the first American Hairless Terrier to do so.
Kody earned his Senior Barn Hunt title today! So proud of my boy! On to Master's!
Debbie Kaminski and her Australian Shepherd “Timber”
(Airbornes Solstice Howlin’ Good Time) have been busy in
the new year. Timber played NADAC agility for the first
time and earned his Novice Weavers title at Artful Dodgers’
February trial, along with several Q’s in various classes. In
addition, he earned his Odor Recognition Test title
(NACSW) in December, which required him to pass all three
odor elements (birch, anise and clove). He also finished his
Level 1 and Level 2 titles at C-WAGS Scent Detective Trials.

Buzzy Deubler finished his PACH at the Oriole Pet Expo trial in January. He needed three
QQs going in and got them! Cindy Deubler took advantage of the new AKC rule allowing dogs to
jump in different heights at the same trial--Buzzy ran in the regular classes and got his final Q in
Premier Standard to complete his PAD title and took home a beautiful blingy Oriole ribbon! Buzzy
is now MACH2 PACH Chestri To Infinity And Beyond MXG PAD MJS MXPB MJPB PAX OF
T2B. Now at age 11, Buzzy will happily be cutting back going to trials (he'd much rather have fun
in classes!)
At the Artful USDAA trial in February, Cindy Deubler with Jacoby Deubler got a pairs Q to
complete his Advanced Performance Dog agility title. Thanks Tina Desrosiers and Lincoln for
teaming up for the Q!
Rose Kane with Frenzy earned her Dock Senior NADD Title at the 2020 AKC North Florida
Cluster.
Deborah Dean and Iselin returned to Barn Hunt this month!! She earned 80
pts in Crazy Eights AND earned High in Class for her Masters run. Iselin had 4
rats and found them all in a quick 2 mins and 5 seconds!!!! As always, I'm so
proud of my Small Blue Thing!!!

Supplies. The set includes high jump, bar jump, and broad jump which all fit in a heavy-duty canvas bag. Asking $100.
