Located in Quang Ngai, the central coastal region inthe Middle of Vietnam, and is the starting point of a

Trans-Asia route in connection with Laos, Cambodiaand Thailand.

Planned to become a multi-sector economic zone,with an emphasis on oil refinery industry,

petrochemical, large-scale heavy industries (such assteel rolling, ship building , engineering, cement,auto manufacturing , etc.), light industries, bankingand financial services, tourism, real estatebusinesses, etc.

Dung Quat Economic Zone has attractedover 120 investment projects which still invalid with total registered capital of over 10billion dollars.

Korean enterprises such as DoosanIndustrial Plant - total invested capital of 310million dollars, heavy industrial plant Kumwoo - $ 15 million, Vietnam-Kum woo KICEASTAR - 30 million, etc.

progress of the province. Doosans application for capital increase by

more than 50 millions USD for manufacturingexpansion is a good example for this.
