DUTIES OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
o Material arrangement for the site.
o Laying of conduit in concrete, slab & structure.
o Pulling of cables in conduit and in cable tray and trenches.
o Fixing of cable tray.
o Laying of main cables from LV panels to SMDB’s and DB’s
o Fixing of wiring devices i.e. switches and sockets in walls and trunking.
o Installation of Light Fixture in ceiling, installation of Auditorium lights & hidden o light.
o Lighting Protection system installation.
o Main Earthing system installation.
o Installation of UPS System.
o LV Panel installation and cable termination.
o Installation of distribution board and cable termination.
o Electrical system commissioning.
o Equipment termination and energizing.
o Testing & Commissioning of Electrical system.
o Maintenance of Main Building.
o Central control system of Lighting.
o Cable pulling of Plumbing & HVAC system and cable termination.
o Ensuring site safety
o providing technical advice
o Problem solving
o Ensuring Management of Change processes are implemented, and documentation/ drawings are verified and updated.
o Liasioning with government electrical officers for setting up new connections with site.
o Coordinate with other service provider/contractors for successful completion of project.
o Review of shop drawings from contractor and suggesting technical inputs.
o Insuring that asbuilt drawings are prepared by contractor and handing over to operation team.
o To make plan and bar chart according to the site as per daily work
o Maintaining daily work diary.
o Measurements on daily basis with the contractor and mainting records of joint measurement
o Checking of electrical works bill and incorporating BOQ Specification.
o Coordinating with vendor for floor panels and ensuring technical specifications.
