1 Are the dampers the correct type? Confirm if Fire or Smoke.

2 Are the dampers located correctly? Damper location to be checked against drawing.

3 Have the dampers been supported correctly?

4 Are the dampers fitted in the correct orientation?

5 Have suitable access doors been fitted?

6 Has the damper blades catch been released to simulate failure of the thermal release?

Perform a drop test.

7 Has the damper been checked for internal cleanliness and absence of damage?

Check for damage with the damper in the closed position.

8 Have the damper blades been re-set following the drop testing & access panel replaced?

9 At the time of drop test is the fire barrier and penetration seal correct & complete?
