Seating arrangementIt’s easy to flexibly arrange the second and third row seats to carry almost any combination of passengers and luggage. You can even fold down all rear seatbacks to create an extremely large and flat luggage area.

Comfortable third row seatsPadding and springs in the third row seat cushions contribute to riding comfort. You can recline the seatbacks to any of four settings. A second row seat sliding function provides easy access to the third row seats.

Keyless Operation SystemButtons on the outside of the front doors and tailgate let you lock/unlock them with a press (as long as you have the Keyless Operation Key with you). There is also a button in the cockpit for starting the engine with a press.

Cruise Control with Speed LimiterSetting the Speed Limiter prevents the vehicle from exceeding the speed you select in most situations. You may need to apply the brakes to prevent the speed from being exceeded when driving downhill. A warning displays and an alarm sounds to alert you if the set speed is exceeded.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)The Outlander’s ABS gives you the ability to suddenly manoeuver safely around obstacles as you slow down. EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) assists by applying additional force to the rear brakes as needed, enabling quicker stops even when carrying passengers and heavy loads.
