E-LOGS / MESSAGING LOAD
PICKUP & DELIVERY
INFORMATION
1. Tap the Driver Login button.
2. Tap the Virtual Keyboard icon at the top left.
3. Type your ID and password.(ID = Last three letters of your last name & the first two letters of
your first name. “SAM TUCKER = TUCSA” )
(PASSWORD = Last four digits of your SSN. “xxx-xx-2222”)
4. Confirm your status.
5. Tap the virtual keyboard icon at the bottom right to close it.
6. Tap OK.
Your name appears after your login information is verified.
1. Tap your name to select it. It is selected automatically if you are the only driver logged in.
2. Tap Logout.
3. Tap OK
Tap the Messaging button
1. Tap on the COMPOSE tab.
2. Tap on ***DISPATCH LOGIN***
DISPATCH LOGIN CONTINUED
Enter your driver ID.(ID = Last three letters of your last name & the first two letters of your first name. “SAM TUCKER = TUCSA” )
Once you have logged into dispatch
Tap on the IN BOX tab
Tap on and Highlight the LOAD HEADER message
Tap the REPLY button twice.
Fill out all the required field
information, (Trailer Number &
Fuel Level)
Hit the SEND button
Drive to your 1st
Stop location.
Once you arrive at your first stop
location, go to the IN BOX
Go to your first Pick Up Arrival
message (PUP-A 1)
Confirm you are at the correct
location
Hit the REPLY button twice
Hit the SEND button
Once loaded and you are ready to
drive away, go to the IN BOX
Go to your first DEPARTURE
message (PUP-D 1)
Hit the REPLY button twice
Fill out the required fields:
(Trailer #, Pieces, Weight, BOL #,
Seal #, Next Stop ETA and if there
was any Plant Damage)
Hit the SEND button
Driver to your drop location
Once you arrive at your Drop
location, go to the IN BOX
Go to your Drop Arrival message
(DRP-A 1)
Hit the Reply button Twice.
Confirm you are at the correct
location
Hit the SEND button
*The system will then
automatically send you your next
Load Header information (if within
24 hours)*
Once you deliver the load and you are
ready to leave,
Go to the IN BOX
Go to your Drop Departure message.
(DRP-D 1)
Hit the REPLY button twice
Fill out the required fields, (Proof of
Delivery (name of person accepting the
delivery) any overages, shortages or
damages
Hit the SEND button
Once you have completed
your day,
Tap on the COMPOSE screen
Tap on and highlight
DISPATCH LOG OUT
Hit the SEND button
(THIS STEP MUST BE
PERFORMED FOR ALL
DRIVERS THAT DO NOT
HAVE THEIR OWN
ASSIGNED VEHICLE)
HOS produces paperless driver logs
certified to comply with Hours of
Service regulations.
You need to know how to:
- View/change your current status
- Clock in/clock out
- View summaries of your
status
- Provide logs to a highway
patrol officer or DOT
inspector
- Approve/edit your logs
- Create/edit a load
- View load history and carrier
information
Statuses include:•OFF : Off-Duty•SB: Sleeper Berth •DRV: Driving•ON : On-Duty not driving•OFF DRV: Off-Duty driving
HOS automatically puts the active driver: •In DRV when the truck is in motion.(after 2miles or 25mph)
•In ON when the truck is stopped(after being stopped for 5 min)
All other statuses must be changed manually.
Minimum duty status time = 5 min. If status changes within 5 min, previous status is eliminated.
Driver should manually change status to DRV if: •Truck goes to ON while stopped (traffic jam)
1. Tap the HOS button from the main menu.
2. The Status tab displays.
3. Check for information in red at the top of the window.
4. Tap Change.
1. Tap a different status.
2. Select or type one or two remarks explaining what is happening during the status.
3. Tap OK.
Note: Off-Duty driving status(OFF DRV) appears if it is enabled for your company.
To change current remarks:
1.Select the Status tab if not already
selected.
2.Tap Remarks.
3.Enter a new remark, or select a
different pre-defined remark from the
drop-down list to explain what is
happening during the status.
4.Tap OK
1. Tap Summary.
2. Note the available time on all
clocks.
3. Tap Graph.
4. Tap the arrows to change dates.
5. Tap one of the horizontal bars to
view details for that log entry
Tap Day Log.
Note the details.
Use arrow keys to change days.
Tap 7-Days (8-Days, Cycle 1, Cycle 2).
Note the details.Tap Log Request to request logs manually.
Duty cycles:• U.S.: 8-day or 7-day• Canada: Cycle 1 or Cycle 2
If you tap the HOS button while driving, you will see
the number of hours until you are in violation.
You can approve your logs only after
the latest logs have been received.
Tap Approve.
Tap Approve All.
Tap Yes to confirm.
This should be done at the end of your
shift every day.
You must have received the latest logs
to edit log records.
Tap Approve .
Tap the record to edit.
Tap Edit.
Select a new status.
Select or type one or two remarks that
describe what happened during the
status.
Tap OK.
Enter a note explaining why you are
making the edit.
(All a driver has put is their initials –
(CW)
Tap OK
Tap Approve.
Tap the record to edit.
Tap Edit.
Tap the scissors.
Specify the end time and status
of the first time period.
Select the status for the remaining
time.
Select or type one or two remarks that
describe what happened during the
status.
Tap OK.
Enter a note explaining why you are
making the edit.
(All a driver has put is their initials –
(CW)
Tap OK
You automatically earn a 34-hour reset when all of the following are met:
• You take 34 or more hours off
• Off-Duty time includes 2consecutive 1AM to 5AM segments.
• Not more than 168 hours (1 week)since the beginning of your last
34-hour reset
You can remove the current reset to take another one in your current duty cycle. Click Reject.Tap OK. The Reject button disappears.Approve your logs.
Note: After your logs are approved, if you need to make 34-hour reset changes, contact your home office
Drivers must take a rest break for
EVERY 8 hours while on duty and
driving.
• Must be a 30 min duration.
• During rest break, must be in an off
duty status: OFF or SB.
Tap on HOS/VIR
Tap on VIR.
Tap on either Vehicle Inspection or Trailer Inspection.
Tap on the SELECT tab.
If there are NO defects, Tap and highlight NO.
Tap on NEXT PAGE tab.
Fill in either the Truck Number or the Trailer Number.
Tap on the DONE tab.
If a defect is found, Tap and highlight YES.
Tap and highlight where the defect is located.
Tap on NEXT PAGE tab.
Describe the defect in the required field.
Enter the Truck Number or Trailer Number.
Tap on the DONE tab.
