In a Nutshell…

Page 3: E waft presentation

We aim to create a realistic means of food monitoring for the prevention of wasted recourses.

-Time-Money

-Groceries

The eWaft is designed for a wide range of people: Anyone who eats

Upon the completion of our system, it could be a permanent integration of todays food storage.

With the large market to mobile device users, integration to two well established institutions would be easy.

Original Idea

-Sensing nodes in shipping containers

-Wireless transition to driver

-Prevent spoiled food from causing furtherdamage

Todays Change

-Home food storage sensing

-Android interactive display

-Prevent food wasting

In Short… The eWaft ionizes emitted vegetation vapors that can be detected as a drop across a voltage. That voltage is transmitted via a AOC using CAN to an mobile tablet for a parts per million conversion and ripeness estimation.

…Uhh…What? The eWaft senses gasses from fruit and displays the information on an interactive android screen.

Contributions:

The android accessory kit comes with source code and demos for simple implementation of its features.

Those have been heavily modified and added too.

The Figaro sensor have suggestions and test scenarios.

We took ‘suggestions’ quite literally

Road Blocks?... YupCorey -> The Science. Cross Field Projects require a lot of time to learn what you don’t know. “I refuse to move on with the project if it works but I don’t understand why” –Me

Chris -> New concept on Time management. Ordering parts much earlier in advance to give more time to problem solving later.

We have Learned so much but there is much more to do... Much more to figure out.

WE are pleased
