In this phase, gathering limits will be removed but will still be determined by WA’s reduced 2sqm rule. It is essential that we all continue to keep up with physical distancing where possible. With the further easing of restrictions, it is anticipated that from Term 3, we will be able to resume events such as assemblies, sport carnivals and Jump Jam. In addition, the Commonwealth Bank School Banking Program will also recommence next term. These are very encouraging signs that we are getting closer to the ‘normal’ that we are all used to. Once in Connect, your child’s report will remain there for the duration of their enrolment at our school. If you would like to consider a position on our Board, nomination forms are available from the front office or via our school website. Please return these forms by Friday 3rd July. Room 11 I would like to officially welcome Mrs Kelley Watson who is teaching in Room 11 while Miss Gillespie is on maternity leave. Mrs Watson has already established a great relationship with the students in Room 11 and is continuing with the programs set for the class. On June 11, Miss Gillespie had a baby boy. Both Miss Gillespie and her baby boy are well and we wish them every happiness as a family. Enrolments A reminder that enrolments for 2021 are still being accepted for all year levels. Parents of our current Kindergarten students are reminded that they are still required to re-enrol their child for Pre-Primary next year. Thank you to those parents who have returned forms. End of term NEWSLETTER

Message from the Principal Dear parents, staff and students,

Phase 4 - Easing of Restrictions On Monday 22nd June, the WA Premier announced details of the remaining phases of Western Australia’s Roadmap for easing restrictions. Phase 4 will commence on Saturday 27th June and will come into effect at schools on Monday 29th June.

Although what we have experienced during COVID-19 has been difficult at times, there are some changes that are positive and should remain in our daily lives. Good personal hygiene has proved to better protect ourselves and the general health of the community. Handwashing routines will still be encouraged in classes and students will be reminded of the etiquette of coughing and sneezing. Congratulations and thank you to our school community for working together to keep us all safe.

Student Reports Semester 1 reports will be sent out to parents via Connect next week. Once in Connect, your child’s report will remain there for the duration of their enrolment at our school.
