The early Chris ans lived in terrible fear of imprisonment, torture and martyrdom but were able to sing beau ful hymns of inspira on. People united with God have o en been able to live in painful chaos but s ll recognize the grace and peace of God our Father in their midst. I think of our Blessed Mother who suffered great pain at the foot of the Cross but accepted all, so that we might live.

Perhaps now is a me to see how God can offer hope in darkness and strength in weakness.

Perhaps now is a me to see, hear and reflect upon the Easter mes-sage of holiness for one’s soul.

Perhaps now is a me to look at what is overshadowed by worldly anxiety and let the light of Christ overwhelm the world again.

Even now may we be able to have Easter Jubila on because God’s power, love and mercy are not dimmed.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection.
