Locker RoomsThe children’s co-ed locker room is only for children to change. Adults must change in adult locker rooms.

Program RegistrationYMCA of Eau Claire members, please sign up during member registration to ensure your preferred program times. Most programs have enrollment limits so early registration is encouraged. To register for a program at member rates, your Y membership MUST be valid during the entire program session. If you decide to cancel your membership while still participating in a program, you will be required to pay the difference between the non-member and member program fee. If your child has any medical problems or concerns, it is the responsibility of the parent to notify the program director in writing prior to the starting date of the program. Program attendance is vital to your child receiving quality instruction from the program. We ask that all participants attend classes on a regular basis. Due to class size limits, we do not allow a child to make up a missed lesson.

Guest PolicyYou are welcome to bring a guest to use the facilities with you. Guests are required to purchase a daily guest pass. Guests can purchase a maximum of six guest passes per calendar year. Photo ID required.

VolunteersVolunteers are vital to the success of the Y and are needed in many roles such as instructing, coaching, refereeing, score keeping, maintenance, time keeping, and fundraising, etc. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Jen at [email protected].

InsuranceThe YMCA of Eau Claire does not provide accident or hospital insurance for people participating in activities and programs. The Y is not responsible for any injuries that occur while in our facility. NOTE: It is recommended that children be a minimum of 11 years old to be left alone at the Y.

Program Refund/Credit PolicyThe Y reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or combine classes that do not have sufficient enrollment. In the event of a cancelled class due to lack of enrollment or change to the original schedule, a full refund or program credit will be issued.• All cancellation requests must be done in person, via email or in writing;

phone call requests are not accepted.• When a cancellation request is received two or more business days prior

to the start of the class a full refund or program credit will be issued.• When a cancellation request is received during the first two weeks of

the session, a Y program credit will be issued for the prorated balance of the remaining classes, less a $5 cancellation fee.

• Refunds/program credits will not be issued when payment for a class is under $5.

• There are no credits given for individual classes missed.• No refunds/credits are given on individual classes cancelled due to

weather.• Some programs require a deposit/registration fee that is non-

Wilderness Trips ProgramCamp Manitou’s Wilderness Trips program features a variety of trips for campers to grow in their skills through a defined progression of wilderness experiences. The program focuses on canoeing and backpacking in some of the finest wilderness in the Midwest. This year Camp Manitou will once again offer a 3-day canoe trip combined with Main Camp for campers entering 6th and 7th grades, as well as a 2-week backpacking trip for teens with prior wilderness experience. Check out the Camp Manitou brochure for full descriptions of available trips.

Camp PricingWe offer three different price options because we want each family to choose the rate that is most appropriate for them. No special paperwork is required. The price you pay does not change the experience your children receive.

Tier A This price most accurately reflects the true cost of camp, taking into account basic upkeep, depreciation, and facility/program improvements.Tier B This price is a rate for families who need to adjust down slightly from the true cost.Tier C This subsidized rate is only available to YMCA members.

We believe all kids should have the opportunity to experience camp and will work with families to make this happen. Contact Michelle at [email protected] for financial assistance applications.

Family Friendly Cancellation PolicyWe accept cancellations at any time and for any reason. We believe we offer a great program that is a high priority in family decision-making. Should campers desire to withdraw their attendance, we believe it would be with good reason, such as an illness, unplanned change to schedule, significant anxiety, etc. We will refund your balance minus the non-refundable deposit. Outside documentation such as a doctor’s note is not needed. Please inform us as soon as possible regarding any cancellations so we can open up your spot for another camper to attend. You can only cancel by contacting our Camp Registrar at [email protected].

CAMP MANITOU MANITOU “SPIRIT AND TRADITION”For more than 90 years, the beautiful woods on Long Lake have provided the ideal backdrop for youth to retreat. Campers of all ages gain confidence, new skills, and an appreciation for the outdoors while developing great new friendships. Our talented, bright, and caring staff serve as ideal role models for campers. Staff are carefully screened, well-trained, and often return summer and summer again. During our week-long summer camps, campers have the opportunity to participate in many outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, archery, fire building, large group games, campfires, and more.
