Eco‐innovation refers to every innovative activity whoseoutcome or objective is to improve products (goods oroutcome or objective is to improve products (goods orservices), the production processes or rendered servicesand/or marketing methods or company management,/ g p y g ,whose use or execution could prevent or considerablyreduce the environmental impacts.

Learn lessons from previous cooperation projects and results in:

A. Sustainability of the products/services:Methodologies, tools and best practices for the identification and assessmentof the main potential environmental impacts of a product or service over thecourse of its life cyclecourse of its life cycle.

B. Sustainability of the production process:Methodologies, tools and best practices for the identification, selection andg , p ,transfer of Best Available Techniques (BAT) and Best EnvironmentalManagement Practices (BEMP) to prevent and control the pollution caused bythe activities of the production processes related to a product or service.
