This is a step by step of my group editing our video.

Editing

Whist creating our video, with ensured that we played it to the best of our knowledge of what needed doing this was to ensure that we made no errors. So I planned out what we needed to do by doing a spider diagram, I did a spider diagram so I knew what was going to happen and where it would take place. And a few different editing techniques that I may include depending on whether they or not they fit in with the sequence. We also worked as a team when it came to editing to ensure that everyone had an impute. This helped because we incorporated all things different ideas when editing which then developed into better ideas. We also had a few areas where is was difficult to make the sequence follow on, for example when Amber walks through one door and then the next shot is of her coming through it. It was difficult however we used the blade to trim down some of the shots and then I put an edit in so that it wasn’t as obvious. So effectively we handle this very well.

However the one thing we did not do so well is the 180 degree angle, because on our first attempt of recording we didn’t do the shot right, we did panning by accident. So once we figured this out I did some research of the 180 degree angle to ensure that we did it correctly the next time. I watched a video to ensure that I knew the angle. Then we had the issue of having to re film parts of it, and non of us were wearing the same clothing as the original footage, and we only had to edit one bit out so we made more work for ourselves than needed. However to resolve this issue we all arrange a date to ensure we all had the correct clothing on and that our hair was exactly the same. However we learnt something very valuable throughout the course of creating this short clip, that we now know for further reference, when it comes to making our opening title sequence.

5. Then we had to film me walking into the octagon too, we had some difficulties doing this because it again was wobbly.

6. Then we had trouble with the camera going distorted on us , so with some scenes we had to do some re takes.

7. Then we had to film the conversation between the two characters, however to speech is not very clear on the video.

8. Then once this was completed we tuck the footage back to the computers and uploaded it to them and started to edit the sequence.

1. First of all we collected all o four equipment, this is the camera and the tripod.

2. Then we went to the octagon and set up the equipment and then we went to outside to film.

3. Then we went to the corridor to film the character walking down, and the shot looked very shaky because we didn’t have the track for the tracking. So I decided to get a table and turn it upside down to drag across the floor.

4. Then we had to film the characters walking through the doors, this was difficult because we struggled to get higher than her, so I had to get on the table to film this.
