The food industry offers great opportunities for innovation in products derived from science, in production and distribution technologies, in business models, and will be a great global investment attractor. There is a growing interest in the valorization of the local product. Citizens will be more aware of the cost of feeding. New sources of protein will be explored, as well as the development of superfoods. It will be essential to improve water productivity. Investment in exploitable land in the medium and long term becomes a new objective of some corporations and governments.
