June/July/August
Dear Friends, Well, summer is now here and with it we enter into a very busy season. Most of the summer will be devoted to work on the building. Please note that there will be no program changes during construction. All our ministries will continue unhindered. I also encourage you to look carefully through this newsletter at all the upcoming ministries taking place. We encourage you to be involved as God leads you in these new ventures. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have worked and are working so had to make the restoration and ministry opportunities a reality. We are truly blessed here to have so many committed folks. I hope you enjoy your summer and that you find it a tremendous blessing from God. Without a doubt, this is the best time of the year to revel in God’s glorious creation. See you in church! Peace, Tim

L.A.M.B.S. (Ladies AM Bible Study)
The Wednesday Bible Study end-ed their season with their annual Fruits of the Spirit breakfast at Evelyn Peterson's house on May 20th. Evelyn served her delicious seafood quiche, Mary Ellen provided cinnamon rolls, and Jen and Marlene brought homemade donuts. This year we decided to meet on the first Wednesday of each month during the summer for Breakfast at the Buffalo at 8:30, followed by prayer at the church. We will resume our study of the Book of Acts on September 8th, the first Wednesday after Labor Day, as usual.
Shepherd’s Hand Clinic
Once again the Presbyterians were the hosts with the most as our Taco Salad met with great approval. The total served was 119, although 47 of those were take home boxes which were a big hit. This time the lucky crew got to enjoy it, too. A hard working, faithful bunch of Presby-terians were joined by a Catholic, a Methodist, Phyllis Bjorsness' great grandchildren, and John and Merri's daughter Meaghan and her husband, Jason. Our mission is ecumenical and gener-ational! FPC if off for July, as guest cooks/servers have volunteered, we will serve at Shepherd's Hand again on August 10th.
Claire’s Goodbye Potluck
We want to celebrate Claire Strickler and her many contribu-tions over the years to FPC, before she relocates to Colora-do, so we are having a potluck in her honor on Sunday, July 12th after Church. Please plan to attend! More info to come.
News from Children’s Sunday School
Through a generous donation from the Askew family we have acquired a set of Kristal Hand Bells for the children to use during Sunday School. This unique set of bells is color coded and allows the children to play a song within minutes of first picking up the bells. It is fun and age appropriate for even the youngest of children. The songs are on flash cards with color coded dots that correspond to the color of the bell. When they see their color dot they ring their bell until that particular card is gone. Easy! We hope that you will hear them as part of our service soon. If you would be interested in sponsoring a song for the children to learn, (the list is long) the cost is $25. Please make your checks payable to FPC and in the memo section please write Children’s Bells. Thank you in advance. Sunday School will resume September 6th.
Our Cup Overflows with Gratitude
Thank you to John and Mary Ellen Barr for the beautiful wooden name tag holder located in the back of the Church. John is so talented he made the upper portion removable so that we can put in different pictures/sayings as the liturgical year changes. John, thank you for sharing your gift with us. Thank you to Phyllis Galloway for your diligence in seeing that the women on Mother’s Day received lovely flowers! Phyllis, the Sanctuary always looks in season thanks to you and your flower arranging talent! Thank you for sharing your amazing gift with all of us. It is noticed and appreciated. Thank you to the Askew family for the generous donation to purchase the Kristal Hand Bells for the children of our Church. The children will enjoy the experience and your love for many years to come! Thank you for your generosity! Thank you to Bruce and Jessie Fraser for giving of your time and talents to FPC. It is no easy task to set on the course we are now entering with the renovation and restoration of our Church. We lift you both in prayer. We are grateful for your presence at this time and in this place. Thank you both!
Saturday Workshop Pastor Tim is planning to hold another Saturday workshop on
“God’s Plan for Your Life” on June 20th. If you missed one of the
others, we encourage you to sign up for this one. It will run from
9:00am-11:30am. Prior registration is required so that materials
can be ordered. Contact the office or see Tim to register.

Glacier Camp Fundraiser
The Camp Scholarship Fundraiser held on May 9th was a great success, reaching the $15,000 goal, thanks to some very gener-ous bidders in the auction. You should have been there! The auction was great fun and you could have purchased a 1995 Mustang convertible in great condition if you had bid more than $3000. (The blue book price was $17, 500.) Our Gourmet Breakfast cherry box brought $225, as it was the only breakfast box for sale and the only box with French wine. Please plan to go if they hold it next year, for an enjoyable evening for a worthy cause. Willo Harris and Claire Strickler were our only representatives this year. Also, do you contribute to Flathead Electric Co-op's Round-up for Safety? Our new Camp director, Heather, wrote a grant request to it and they awarded the camp $3500 for a defibrilla-tor, radios, and buoy line.
Musings From the Music Director
Our dedicated choir loves to sing and will share their special songs this summer on June 21, July 19, and August 16 during Sunday morning worship. Thanks, choir. Making a joyful noise, Alma Ramlow 862-6126
Upcoming Need
We are in need of new or used tables and chairs for the patio on the 3rd St. side on the church. Our vision would be 2 bistro sized tables. Metal would work great. No glass or tile. We would love to rehab them. Jessie Fraser 863-9860
