Eleonora Bellocci

Soprano

Born in Florence, Eleonora Bellocci studied under the guidance of Donatella Debolini and graduated with honors from the Luigi Cherubini Music Conservatory in 2019. In 2016 she joined the Accademia Rossiniana with Alberto Zedda and debuted as Corinna in Il viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. From 2016 to 2018 Eleonora attended the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Academy where she studied under the tutelage of international leading

artists, performing in major productions for the Florence Opera including Auber’s Fra Diavolo (Zerlina), Salieri’s Scuola de’ gelosi (Ernestina), Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel (Gretel), Carmen (Frasquita), La Cenerentola (Clorinda) and Le Convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali (Prima Donna). In the 2017/2018 season, she sang Clorinda in La Cenerentola (including the rare aria “Sventurata! mi credea”) for Opera Lombardia and Isabella in Rossini’s Inganno felice for the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza. For the Rossini in Wildbad Festival, she appeared as Fanny (La Cambiale di matrimonio),Teti (Le Nozze di Teti e Peleo) and Rosalia (L’Equivoco stravagante). First prize winner at the International Singing Competitions “Carlo Guasco” and “Giulio Neri”, Eleonora Bellocci was awarded the International Belcanto Price at the Wildbad Rossini Festival. In 2018, she has recorded a DVD with La Cambiale di matrimonio filmed at that same Festival. In 2018/2019, she was Berta (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) at the Teatro Regio in Parma, Serafina (Il Campanello) and Fanny (La Cambiale di matrimonio) both for the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari. She made her debut as Königin der Nacht on the opening night of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti and staged by Pier Luigi Pizzi and had been re-invited by the Belcanto Opera Festival in Wildbad to perform Accademia di Musica (Annetta) by Simon Mayr and the first modern representation of I tre gobbi (Madama Vezzosa) by Manuel Garcia. Among her recent and future engagement are Cimarosa’s Matrimonio segreto (Elisetta) in a production staged by Pier Luigi Pizzi for the Teatro Regio Torino and the title role in the rarity Leonora by Ferdinando Paër under Alessandro De Marchi at the Innsbruck Festival.
