and the Moon case bogies

It was almost midnight, but Elisa didn’t feel especially sleepy. From her room at the 4th floor she saw it was moonlight outside....but alas; she

couldn’t see the Moon!

Elisa had always loved the dim and mystical moonlight, and now she was filled

with a strong urge to see the Moon and — perhaps — say a short prayer to her

favorite goddess Uzume.

Though she never had been there before, Elisa quickly figured out the hotel

rooftop would be the perfect place to watch the Moon right now. She resolutely

locked the 412 door and entered the nearby elevator. Elisa pushed the 15-button,

and reached the 15th floor moments later — it was completely quiet up there. She

headed for the stairway, and a few seconds later Elisa felt excited to discover a

door standing slightly ajar — it had to be the rooftop entrance!

Elisa opened the dark door slowly — the Moon....hurrah! She stepped merrily

forward almost mesmerized by the bewitching moonlight....but....what was that?

— a metallic noise from the uppermost rooftop!

Standing 76 inches tall on the uppermost rooftop the graffitist, murderer and

wrestling enthusiast Booger was a terrifying sight in the faint light of the Moon.

Elisa stepped frightened back, but too late — Booger had already seen her....and

his expression told her he didn’t appreciate her presence.

Elisa headed for the stairway she had used to access the rooftop — she felt pretty sure the graffiti maker was going to follow her.

Elisa hasted downstairs and — thinking she stood a better chance in the corridor if

attacked — decided to aim for the lift at the 15th floor.

Entering the elevator she forthright pressed several buttons in order to perplex her

pursuer — standing outside the locked elevator door at the 15th floor, he was

supposed to see the lift stopping at various floors....and, thus, it should be difficult

to know her actual exit floor.

But what’s up — the elevator door won’t close?! Elisa frenetically pushed the

intercom button, but there was no response — what now?

She was aware the elevator security camera, and felt convinced hotel employees or

a security services company monitored the lift activities continuously.

Elisa swiftly decided to act conspicuously to arouse the assumed camera operator’s

attention — she tried to describe the danger by way of improvised dactylology

and gesture language.

But now Mr B.O. — “Booger” — had reached her elevator....there she was;

“Praise be to Eschu, praise be to Eschu and hail Lucifer!”.

His right hand squeezed the handgun hidden in his pocket as he triumphantly

approached Elisa.....
