MWH, in a principle contractor role, support SSE through construction framework contracts for 33/132/275KV substations The frameworks cover the design, construction and commissioning of new and re-furbished substations.

Client - Northern Powergrid11/33kv Substation Design and Build

MWH supports Northern Powergrid in the refurbishment and new build of electrical substation through a standing list of approved principal contractors. The service provision includes, in addition to contracting, project management of supply chain and interfaces, CDM, cost estimating and design reviews, review of geotechnical and environmental constraints, incorporating constraints into methods of working.
