    Time : 11.00 a.m 12.00 p.m

    Theme : World of Story

    Topic : The Thirsty Crow

    Focused Skills : Reading and listening

    Integrated Skills : Writing

    Learning objectives : 1.7.3 Listen to simple stories/fables and respond non-verbally and

    verbally.

    3.9.1 Read and understand simple poems, stories and tables.

    4.3.3 Completing missing words in simple texts such as instructions,

    directions, descriptions, rhymes, stories and other texts.

    Behavioral Objectives: By the end of the lesson;

    i) 80% of the pupils are able to read the story with correct

    pronunciation.

    ii) Pupils are able to answer 3/5 of the comprehension questions

    regarding the story correctly.

    Vocabulary : Crow, thirsty, pot, pebbles, beak.

    Grammar : Past tense

    Sentence Pattern : - A crow was very thirsty.

    - It saw a pot under the tree.

    Values : Co-operative, be smart and creative.

    Thinking skills : Relating, identifying

    Multiple intelligence : Verbal-Linguistics

    - Teacher asks all the pupils to

    read that story.

    - Then, teacher asks the students

    to sit into 3 groups.

    - The first group will read first

    paragraph and so on.

    Production

    (15 minutes)

    - Teacher pastes story with

    missing words on whiteboard.

    - Teacher chooses pupils

    randomly to match the word

    cards given to the blank space.

    - Teacher gives pupils

    comprehension exercises

    regarding to the story.

    - Teacher checks the answers

    together with the pupils.
