GENERAL USER INFORMATION

Activating the touch-sensitive glass Activating the light Setting mode

Touch one o the 7 touch-sensitiveareas o the glass to activate the

corresponding unction.

I the watch is not manipulated,it will automatically deactivate ater

Pressing and holding or will move the hands orward or backward. Ater a ull revolution, the minutes hand will stop and the hour hand advances/reverses in steps o one hour. Time T2 is set in steps o 15 minutes relative to T1.

Standb mode is a batter econom mode. All the unctions are deactivated, with onl the time & date counters updated.This mode economises the batter when the watch is not being worn.

ALARMThe alarm is associated with time T1. An alarm lasts 30 seconds, without repeating. When the programmed time is reached, ou canstop the alarm b pressing one o the push-buttons.

Compass

In compass mode, your SEA-TOUCH indicates

the True North Pole, actoring in magnetic

declination.

Compass explanations

The vertical lines (meridians) on the Earth converge at the True North Pole

(Ng), indicating its direction. The hand o a conventional compass indicates

the direction o the Magnetic North Pole (Nm).The angle (α) between these two directions Ng

and Nm is known as magnetic declination. The

magnetic declination value depends on your

location on Earth. Furthermore, the Magnetic

North Pole is constantly moving. So the mag-

netic declination value also depends on the

date. I the correct magnetic declination value

(or the location and date) is set (see the setting

procedure on page 6), the minutes hand o your

SEA-TOUCH will point to True North (Ng). I the magnetic declination is set

to 0, your SEA-TOUCH will point to Magnetic north (Nm). The magnetic decli-

nation values and dates are indicated on topographic charts, or can be ound

using special sotware available on the Internet.

Azimuth

In compass mode, your SEA-TOUCH LCD indicates the azimuth (heading) that you

need to turn to.

Azimuth explanations

The azimuth is the horizontal

angle between the direction

o an object (heading) and

True North and is measured in

degrees rom 0° to 359° (e.g.:

East = 90°). In compass mode

12 o'clock represents the head-

ing given by the azimuth rela-

tive to True North.

Note 1

For a correct indication o North, it is extremely important to hold the watch as

level as possible.

Note 2

The compass unction, like any other compass, should not be used near a metal or

magnetic mass. In case o doubt, you can recali-

brate your compass.

Description o unction

In thermometer mode, your SEA-TOUCH

displays the ambient temperature.

Explanations

The temperature displayed corresponds to

that o the watch case, so this temperature

is inuenced by your body temperature. That

is why the temperature displayed may dier

rom the ambient temperature.

To display the actual ambient temperature,

the watch needs to be taken o or 15 to

30 minutes, in order to be ree rom the inuence o body temperature.

Under water the thermometer will show you the water temperature. The

body temperature will not inuence this measure. However the watch will

need a ew minutes to adapt rom the air temperature to the water tempera-

ture when going into the water.

The temperature can be displayed in degrees Celsius [°C] or degrees Fahren-

heit [°F]. (See procedure to ollow or changing units on page 4).

Conversion ormulae: T 0C = (T 0F – 32) x 5/9

T 0F = T 0C x 9/5 + 32

Measurement range: – 5°C to + 55°C / 23°F to 130°F

Accuracy: ± 1°C / ± 1.8°F

DIVE > AUTOMATIC START & STOPThe watch automaticall starts the dive mode at the latest 5 seconds ater the depth limit o 1 m 40 (4.5 eet). The dive is saved in thelogbook i the dive lasts more than 15 seconds.

I the dive lasts more than 3 minutes, the dive mode stops automaticallyater 5 minutes, at the surace. The dive is saved.

I the dive length doesn’t exceed 3 minutes, the dive is automatically stoppedwhen the diver stays more than 10 seconds at the surace.The diver can stop the current dive manually by pressing the middlepush-button, as long as the depth is above 1.40 m.

All dives with manual start are saved in the logbook.

The pressure gauge shows a diving depth o up to 59 m / 189 t. Even i you dive deeper, the display will continue to show a diving depth o 59 m / 189 t.

The maximum diving time that can be displayed and registered is 180 minutes / 3 hours.

For your security do not dive deeper as international diving standards recommended: i.e. 30 m / 100 t.
