A youth club

INTRODUCTIONIt is a youth club which will provide healthy activities in one place for youngsters. Macedon will provide youth an option against “smoking clubs” and other “unhygienic” and “unethical places” which have become our youth`s favorite time spending places. Macedon will provide healthy competition and entertainment platform where youngsters can enjoy and get experienced by joining healthy and thrilling activities. We achieve this goal by providing these facilities:

• Artificial rock climbing• Horse riding • Paint ball • Archery range• Swimming

NEED STATEMENTThe overriding need of the society is to provide a healthy, safe, comfortable and informal facility for youngsters so that young people will find a better alternative for smoking clubs and other unhygienic activities to divert their mind from negative to positive thinking. Macedon is an opportunity which will provide them an access to the combination of fun with real time

adventure under controlled atmosphere. Our vision is to enhance the youth`s potential through adventure sports.

OUR OBJECTIVE

Is to provide an alternative for smoking clubs and other unhygienic activities Is to provide access to the combination of entertainment and adventure Is to ensure the safety of members of the club under controlled atmosphere To enhance youth’s potential through adventure sports Is to provide training of rock climbing, horse riding, archery and swimming for the

members of club is to provide popular adventure sports in one place Is to introduce a socio-friendly youth club

TARGET POPULATIONOur target population is youth of the age of 16-25 years. Our focus is on high school, college and university students.

METHODS OF PROVIDING SERVICESMacedon will provide complete guidance and training facilities to the members under the guidance of instructors. Our facilities are also for those who will occasionally visit the Macedon and use archery, horse riding, and swimming for joy. Riding tracks and hurdles will be used for horse riding; separate swimming pools will be provided for proper training and for joy swimming; and natural mini forest will be used as a shooting range for paint ball and archery. All these activities will be under the supervision of instructors. Club will issue the membership and proper discount will be provided for the members.

SUSTAINABILITYOur main focus is youth and students of high schools, colleges and universities and Lahore has

the largest number of educational institutions in the country. iIn Lahore city there is 69%

youth (of the age between 16-25 years) of the whole population ii. The energetic youngsters

will dramatically influence by our entertainment system with adventure. The venture will sustain by issuing membership cards to attach members for long term. As we have no direct competitors and we will provide key adventure activities in one place which will insure a decent revenue and long term sustainability.

FEASIBILITYOur business plan clearly reveals the strategic CSR (corporate social responsibility) approach so it is beneficial for society consequently it will help us introduce our club as socio-friendly and eventually leads us to the recognition in market. We are focusing the youth of different tastes by offering multidimensional activities i.e. rock climbing, horse riding, archery, swimming and paintball so that different seasons or altered behaviors of members cannot affect the revenue of club- In winter if swimming pool will shut down then other activities will remain open.

SUMMARY/CONCLUSIONMacedon is the non-traditional, adventurous, entertaining, healthy and safe opportunity for the youngsters under controlled atmosphere. It will provide youth an option against “smoking clubs” and other “unhygienic” places. It will provide a combination of amusement, experience and thrill. As the youth is our target population so once the market reputation will be set then revenue will be easy to generate as equipment for paint ball, swimming pool, rock climbing and archery and the horses for riding will remain same and only maintenance and raw material will be required.
