Round 4 Dialogue
• A picture for all teams• Select an element from the picture ( concrete or
abstract)• Frame a dialogue between the team and the element .
( one of the team members become the selected element)
• Think time of 60-120 seconds• Performance time 2-3 minute• 10 marks for appropriate, correct, and creative
dialogues.

• A poster for all teams• A slogan to be prepared• 60 seconds for preparing a slogan• submitting it on a piece of paper• Reading of all slogans by the quiz master• scores to be given to creative ideas only.• Referee decides the score.
Round 6 Nonsense Description
• A picture for all teams• A nonsense description to be made in 30 seconds
and submitted.• Reading of the description.• The number of nonsensical items from the
description are counted and scores are given by the referee

Round 7Exploring Situations
• Each team writes a situation on a piece of paper . E g You are quarreling with your neighbour.
• The situations are collected and randomly distributed

• Each team writes name of the personality/profession/ category of people on a piece of paper . E g Sachin Tendulker/ Driver/ beggar
• Chits are collected and randomly distributed • Think time• Performance time• Language used is evaluated and scores are given
by the referee
Round 9 Defend a Case
• A case is presented e.g. “If the price of onion rises, the use of it should be banned”
• One team is selected to speak in favour of it. They will defend the case against the arguments presented by other teams. Other teams can make illogical arguments too.
• The quality of language used will be evaluated and scores will be given by the referee.
Round 10 Performing an advertisement
• Each team writes a name of an imaginary product on a piece of paper . E g instant pani-puri mix
• Chits are collected and randomly distributed • Think time• Performance time• Language used is evaluated and scores are
given by the referee
Round 11 Exploring Videos
• A video clipping is presented• Questions / tasks based on the clipping are
given to each team• Think time• Performance time• Language used is evaluated and scores are
given by the referee
more 4 uFilm review A title of the film will be given. The teams will have to present a review of it.
Book review Teams can present a review of a book they have read.
Reading comprehension
A passage on the screen will be displayed. Comprhension questions based on the passage will be asked.
Joke telling Each team has to present a joke in english.Creating a Haiku Each team will be given a subject. They will create haiku and present it.

Sentence consructions
A series of unrelated words will be presented on the screen. Teams will have to prepare a grammatically correct meaningful sentence by including all words.River, chair, grand, moonlight.
Rhyme on a language function
A language function or a situation will be given to teams. The will present an appropriate rhyme for it.
fantasy A situation will be given. Teams will have to create a description full of fantasy.Sample: A lizard is developing human characteristics day by day
news A situation will be presented . the teams will have to prepare a news item to be telecast on a news channel.
Question Framming
An imaginary situation will be presented. Teams will create five questions .Sample: A donkey requests you to buy him a face-wash.
