Tree Bihu: Every year in the month of April our members travel to different parts of
North East India and request the local people of those areas to plant saplings in their
traditional attire. This not only helps in promoting our rich culture but also helps in
preserving our environment.
Green Love: We celebrate “Green Love” on Valentine’s Day where we motivate people
to gift traditional products to each other so that local people can get some extra earning
by selling those traditional products. Also we request people visiting various parks and
amusement places not to through plastics and other non degradable items in those
places.
Prakriti Award: Every year the NGO gives “Prakriti Award” to the most planned and
disciplined Durga Puja Committee, which shall also maintain the norms on cleanliness
and hygiene.
Jagriti: Every year the NGO plants saplings in memory of 30th Oct Bomb Blast
Victim. During Jagriti the NGO also collects used clothes from households and
distributes the same among poor & needy people.
Eco Picnic: In the first week of January month the NGO celebrates “Eco Picnic”
by placing temporary dustbins in the Brahmaputra River Front and other picnic
places where dustbins are not available.
Eco Excursions: The NGO arranges “Eco Excursions” among school and college
children to make the students aware about the tourism potentialities of North
East India.
Felicitations: The NGO also felicitates tourists visiting North East India with
good motive and thoughts. This helps in generating multiplier effects and results
in an increase in the number of visitors.
Independence Day: The NGO celebrates Independence Day with kids staying in
different orphans of North East by organising different games, talent shows and
documentary show. Certificates and books are provided to all the kids on this
special day.
Besides this the NGO also celebrates Republic Day, World Tourism Day, World
Environment Day & Childrens Day.
