Dear ETAS Member,
In most parts of Switzerland you can feel it: it's spring! The days are getting
longer, the temperature is rising, and ETAS Regional Events are blossoming!
The groups in Basel, Bern, Lausanne and St. Gallen have all started their
regular meetings and they are thriving wonderfully. For an overview scroll down
to Upcoming ETAS Events or click here.
Don't forget to save the date! The 2019 ETAS Professional Development Day
takes place on 7th September at the International School of Berne. It is
another exciting opportunity to meet fellow ETAS members as well as non-
members, exchange ideas and learn about teaching. Registration will open
soon, so keep an eye on the ETAS website.
What else will you find in this issue of the ETAS e-Newsletter? To mention just
three items, the ETAS Journal team has lots of materials on offer for review.
Last month's Twitter recap includes a short and very interesting read by Kyle
Dugan about reading texts as writing examples. And the Drama in
Education Days 2019 will be held in Zug in July (see under Other ELT
Events).
Enjoy the read!
Kind regards,
Your ETAS team
