CLOSING DATES – Online signed training – The online system will open next week and you will be able to sign for Christmas holiday training until midnight on Saturday 9th December. The signed training period commences on Saturday 16th December 2017 and ends Saturday 6th January 2018 inclusive. If you don’t sign by the closing date for these 3 weeks of training, unfortunately you will not be permitted to attend. Club championships entries – online entries due by Friday 1st December (entry forms will be distributed next week) SAT 2ND DEC – There will be changes to usual training times this day due to the League Finals, changes will be sent via email. ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... BG MEMBERSHIP – Due to new legislation all club members have to renew their own membership online. You should have all now renewed your child’s BG membership via the BG website. ENGLISH REGIONAL CUP – Congratulations to all the Edgbarrow members (TRI and DMT) who represented the South, helping them win the Regional Cup Final. The day concluded in a tense trampoline final where everyone stood up under pressure and delivered 10 moves! ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL - Individual/ Synchro and DMT medallists from the English Championship Finals the previous day were as follows: *GOLD* Sophie Brady 1st, Freddie Foster 1st, Tahlia Williams 1st, Kai Juttla 1st, Asha Chaudhry+Caitlin Tarrant 1st. *SILVER* Eleanor Edwards 2nd, Sophie Dowrich+Amelia Shaw 2nd, Freddie Foster+Kai Juttla 2nd. *BRONZE* Lucas Dollery 3rd, Ray Barry 3rd, Caitlin Tarrant 3rd, Tayla Porter+Sophie Brady 3rd. Well done to everyone who qualified and competed at the championships! ENGLISH SQUAD INCLUSION – Congratulations Caitlin Tarrant who has been selected to be in the English Junior DMT Squad and to Ben Watts who has been selected to be in the English Senior Trampoline Squad. Both Edgbarrow members will have the opportunity to represent England in international events in 2018. REGIONAL TEAM EVENT – Congratulations to everyone who represented Edgbarrow on the Isle of Wight on 22nd October. Everyone achieved 100% completion on all routines! *SILVER* Team One came 2nd: Bailee, Olivia, Emma, Phoenix, Callum W, Sophie R, Enya, James. *BRONZE* Team Two came 3rd: Frank, Clarissa, Amy, Bozena, Abby, Mia, Charlotte, Callum P. CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS – Saturday 9th December, this is a fun in-house fundraising event where club and community members can try out new skills/ routines, enter fancy dress synchro and enjoy the barn dance in the evening. Entry forms for the competition will be distributed by next week and the entries are due online by Friday 1st December. BARN DANCE – An evening of fun for all the family! Unfortunately this year we have a limited number of 100 due to a venue change. Tickets will be available to purchase from mid-November so be sure to buy them early to avoid disappointment. If you’d like to donate tombola and raffle prizes and non-perishable foods for the hampers, this would be greatly appreciated. Please bring any donations into club and give them to any of the coaches. PRINTED PIT SOCKS – See attached list of those so far who have joined in our fundraising initiative to help raise money for foam to put the new pit socks in (please check that the name on the list is exactly what you want). The idea is that you have your name printed (not embroidered as previously published) on a pit sock and you will remain in the pit forever! The fundraising initiative also doubles up as your raffle ticket for one of the hamper draws at Christmas. A named pit sock will be pulled from the pit and the winner will receive the prize. The cost of each printed pit sock is £7. If you would like to join in and your name doesn't appear on the list please contact Alan Chapman ASAP at alan@alanchapman.net and he will put you on the list. Please either put £7 cash in a named envelope with the words pit sock written on it and place in Heather's blue post box in reception, or transfer your £7 into the club account with the reference - PIT and your name. Unless you withdraw your request by November 8th your sock will be printed and you will be required to pay. Thank you all for your generosity.
