Aim •describing youth worker competences in a standardised way based on competence-profiles•should lead 1. to better recognition of the contributions of youth•work to society and 2.lead to appropriate capacity-building strategies•The focus should be on competences needed to work in transnational projects and to support young people’s mobility in these projects – not on a general competence profile.
