Time line

Historical context: In 1916, Hugo Ball, Emmy Hennings, Tristan Tzara, Jean Arp, Marcel Janco, Richard Huelsenbeck, Sophie Täuber, and Hans Richter, along with others, discussed art and put on performances in the Cabaret Voltaire expressing their disgust with the war and the interests that inspired it.

Some sources state that Dada coalesced on October 6 at the Cabaret Voltaire. Other sources state that Dada did not originate fully in a Zurich literary salon but grew out of an already vibrant artistic tradition in Eastern Europe, particularly Romania, that transposed to Switzerland when a group of Jewish modernist artists (Tzara, Marcel & Iuliu Iancu, Arthur Segal, and others) settled in Zurich. In the years prior to World War I similar art had already risen in Bucharest and other Eastern European cities; it is likely that DADA's catalyst was the arrival in Zurich of artists like Tzara and Janco

Reasons why I choose thi vanguard:

I choose this Vanguard bacause I like the concept that this vanguard represent and also the forms and the process of doing a Dada paint.

At the same time, I like the art pieces and the crative of the artists to do this work.

On the other hand, I Know some information of this vanguard because my grandfather teach me basic information of Dada before die.

Dada

Duchamp is considered by many to be one of the most important artists of the 20th century, and his output influenced the development of post-World War I Western art. He advised modern art collectors, such as Peggy Guggenheim and other prominent figures, thereby helping to shape the tastes of Western art during this period.

Duchamp challenged conventional thought about artistic processes and art marketing, not so much by writing, but through subversive actions. He famously dubbed a urinal art and named it Fountain. Duchamp produced relatively few artworks, while moving quickly through the avant-garde circles of his time. Duchamp went on to pretend to abandon art and devoted the rest of his life to chess, while secretly continuing to make art. In 1958 Duchamp said of creativity.

This is a very representative image bacause they show all the concepts and style of Dadaism and his qalitives as a paint

On the other hand, This art piece imspire other artists like Francis Picabia and Hans Richter

I choose this art piece Because I think that represents the concept in general of the Dadaism and the evolution that they had. Also is one of my favorites

Obregón is primarily a painter. His compositions are usually divided horizontally into two areas of different pictorial value or size, but of equal visual intensity. Other elements are placed against them. His style is characterized by use of color, exploration of traits and strokes through brush handling, and employment of transparency and impastoes.  

Landscapes were translated into geometric symbols of Colombia.  Obregón is a good example of the abstract Surrealist trend in Latin America.

First I see what would be my Favorite art piece that i waned to modified

Once I choose it I see exaples of apropiation from expert Artists and that way Iknow how do mine.

Then I use pixlr.com and try to modificate the apropiation without eliminate the concept of this art piece

Finally I put some effects that the program brings.

I think That during the querter I have some problems with paying atation during Alejandra´s explanation an for that reason my grades would be bad in some works

On the other hand, my grades in the work with Claudia where very bad specialy in bimestral evaluation and for that reasons I think that I fail this quarte

I think that if I pay more atantion and do my best efort on this quarter I can do an excelent work
