The Agenda
The inaugural Angola Oil & Gas 2019 conference was held June 4-6, 2019 at the Centro de Convenções Talatona (CCTA) in Luanda, Angola. The conference, officially endorsed by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Petroleum of the Republic of Angola, marked a key moment for Angola’s oil and gas sector — uniting the top leaders from the government and the private sector for three days of discussions, closing deals and launching new initiatives.
Angola Oil & Gas 2019 saw the launch of the country’s Oil Blocks Licensing Round Tender; the launch of its first marginal fields round; the announcement of the winner of the Construction Contract of the Gasoline Production Unit of the Luanda Refinery; the signing of the Gas Consortium agreement for the Cabinda Refinery, highlights and explanations of the recent government reforms and three full days of exhibition, panel discussions and presentations.
Angola Oil & Gas 2019 was the place to address the most pressing issues in Angola’s Oil & Gas Sector, while re-imagining old alliances and forging new relationships.

Event Highlights
At a time when Angola is committed to attracting investment and promoting partnerships and business in all segments of the energy and oil industry value chain, the organization of this conference allows us to better showcase the vision the country has for its petroleum and gas industry to potential foreign investors.
I salute the important politicians and executives of companies linked to the world oil industry who dig-nified us with their presence and who will enrich the discussion of the proposed themes for debate.
The holding of this conference is presented as an excellent platform for showcasing the vision of the An-golan oil and gas sector. It is an honor and a national achievement to be able to host such a prestigious event that is well attended by the leaders of the Afri-can energy industry.
Re: the oil and Gas Conference it was fantastic. The or-ganization and the outcome/results of this Conference was AAA standard, well done and congrats to you all as organizers. We hope to have this event again next year.
It is with great enthusiasm and interest that I received the official invitation for the opening of this Angola Oil & Gas conference and the exhibition that accompa-nies it, since I deem the approach to the issues related to oil and gas in Angola of extreme importance.
The Angolan government is aligning itself perfectly with the motto of this conference, that considers petroleum and gas as catalyzers for a new dynamic, renewable and self-sustainable economy.
