What kind of media institution might distribute

So what institutions wouldn’t fit Captured?

So Walt Disney is one of the main institutions that obviously wouldn’t distribute our thriller film.

But why not? …

Well, Disney make films for children, and the genre and themes in Captured, wouldn’t fit their idea of a child’s film.

Like the Jungle Book, Cinderella and Bambi.

Walt Disney is also similar to Warner Brothers, so they also wouldn’t distribute our thriller film.

Universal studios is another institution that I don’t think would distribute my thriller film.

Why not? … From my research, I have found that Universal Studios do a lot more action films, rather than thriller.

Therefore, this would not be the right distribution for Captured, as it fits the wrong audience and

Also, Universal Studios is a very large American institution, one of the largest, and therefore Captured wouldn’t be the best film for their publicity, as they distribute very popular, American films.

So what institution might distribute Capture?

Columbia pictures is one of the big institutions which is known to distribute thriller films.

Like The Panic Room, Trapped, The Davinci Code and many other popular thriller films.

However, because Columbia is such a big American institution, we feel like our film wouldn’t be big enough for their company.

Which is why we though a smaller institution may distribute our film instead.

So the institution we feel would distribute Captured best is…

I believe that a smaller institution like Film 4 would distribute our thriller film.

This is because, as a company Film 4 are known to distribute more low budget films, and some which are only just starting in the film industry.

They show their films mainly on their channel, and other channels like Channel 4 and E4.
