Community Compassion Fund
Providing compassion and assistance to people in our community who are in crisis by:
Truly listening to their needs
Connecting them to appropriate resources
Giving limited financial
assistance.

Housing Assistance
(Preventing homelessness – buying a person some time to find employment,
recover from an illness, or apply for state/federal assistance) Utility Assistance
Hygiene Kits
(As well as other supplies i.e. blankets, walkers, socks, gloves etc…)
Prescription Assistance
Hospitality
(Free phone use, newspaper, hot coffee and cookies,
Community Assistance Resource Hub encouragement, and hope)
(Access to written materials that can guide and educate)

The process:Greeted by in-take volunteer
Hospitality of fresh coffee and cookies
Listen to the applicant about their needs then fill out an
application form (English or Spanish)
Application is reviewed and verified
Determination of whether or not financial assistance is
available is made and reported back to applicant
Applicant comes in for an appointment where we discuss
results, provide assistance and receive educational information
to move forward.
