EVMP® CREDENTIAL CERTIFICATION PARTS A, B, CREQUIREMENTS:On Day 5 of the EVMP® certification program, a 4 hour exam is given. Participants must passthe 4 hour EVMP® credential certification examination for PART A; pass and complete a Projectfrom Start to Finish Using Applied Earned Value Management (EVM); Project Management,Project Control, and EVM Best Practices for PART B; a n d f o r PART C; complete and present2 case studies in class, and also provide short answers to 5 to 7 topics that are relevant to EVMand Project Control today. Completion of PARTs A, B and C are requirements to becomingEVMP® Earned Value Management Professional® certified.

PART A: To become Earned Value Management Professional® EVMP® certified, an 80%passing grade in all sections of the 4 hour EVMP® Exam must be achieved by the Examcandidate as determined by the EVMP® Certification Board; and all Participants must adhereto the EVMI®'s Honor Code at: http://www.evmi.com/our-policies/#our-honor-code

PART B consists of completing 10 EVM and Project Controls/Management relatedexercises/deliverables and Participant are given up to 3 weeks after class to complete andsubmit their answers using Applied Earned Value Management (EVM) and turn in allcompleted exercises by their DUE DATE. You must achieve a total score of 80% for allyour PART B exercises. Completion of Part B exercises culminates in the “My EVMPPortfolio™” creation. PART C: CASE STUDY: TEAMS IMPLEMENTING EVM (Requires 20pa rt i c i p a n t s in e a c h team ): C omplete and present your 2 case studies andprovide 5 to 7 short answers on selected topics. PLEASE NOTE: Part C case studiesare done in teams or groups consisting of 20 participants in each group or team, and the tenparticipants will participate in the following functions on their given case study projectswhich are based on “real projects”. Participant functions include: Role playing,accountability, oversight, transparency; leadership, quality management, risk management,control account management, change management, problem solving and EVM compliance.

To become EVMP® certified you must score an 80% passing grade in EVMP®credential certification examination given for PART A; and score 80% and aboveon all the exercises given for the Project Using Applied Earned ValueManagement for PART B; and for PART C complete and present your 2 casestudies and provide 5 to 7 short answers on selected topics *Both Parts A and Bmust be passed with an 80% or more to attain EVMI®'s EVMP® credential certification*Computers or laptops with MS Excel, Microsoft Power point and Microsoft Wordare required to complete exercises in PART B.
