launched a full service package in 1999, which embraces all aspects

of fastening, either directly or indirectly.

How to reduce the total cost of fasteners?

FACIL’S track record shows it manages to reduce the total price of the fastener package

considerably every time. This can be achieved by focusing on the total ‘in place’ cost,

as the fastener itself usually only makes up for 20% of the total cost of application.

The other 80% ‘soft costs’ consists of: engineering, quality tests, changes, assembly,

logistics, handling, …

By expert analysis of the ‘Bill of materials’, and taking into account all factors including

process, FACIL can reduce the total ‘in place’ costs considerably.
