Schedule for The Miners Arms

KitchenWorks to the kitchen will include the following:• The equipment will be upgraded in line with

specialist recommendations.• New Altro flooring will be added.

Bar serveryWorks to the servery will include the following:• The right-hand side of the bar will be

remodelled, forming a new back bar featuring a coffee station.

• The new back bar will be clad with new tiles/brick slips.

• New Altro flooring will be introduced, as will a new glass-wash area.

• The front bar will be retained, although it will be repainted and have a new top.

Bar/transition areasWorks to the bar/transition areas will create a space that connects all of the other zones that will be used for drinking and casual dining. Works will include the following:• The bar areas will have new hard floor finishes,

new feature lighting positions and new high, fixed seating.

• There will be an eclectic mix of wall pictures with wall lights.

• A new caged area opposite the servery will provide theatre and be used for the storage of wine and premium spirits.

• A full redecoration will take place.

Snug areaThe existing snug area will be modified and enhanced. Works will include the following:• New stone flooring will be introduced, along

with new decorations and fixed seating.• A clear screen between the snug and bar will

allow for through vision, as will a clear screen within the entrance lobby.

• New loose furniture, curtains/blinds and lighting will be introduced, along with a new brickwork chimney complete with a log-burner.

Dining areaWorks to the dining area will include the following:• New flooring finishes will be introduced

throughout.• The wall will be re-clad with timber cladding.• New decorations, loose furniture, curtains/

blinds and lighting will be introduced.• New screening details with plants will be

added to the recess.

ToiletsThe toilets will be refurbished to a high standard. Works will include the following:• New floor and wall finishes will be introduced.• New sanitaryware, cubical systems, lighting

and extract fans will be added.

Outside areaWorks to the outside area will include the following:• New seating will be introduced to the front

and left-hand side of the pub entrance. • New planters, decorations and a general tidy-

up will contribute to an improvement when it comes to first impressions.

• Equipment in the outdoor play area will be made safe/repaired.

Signage and lightingSignage and lighting works will include the following:• The existing signage will be removed and new

script writing will be added onto the wall.
