ABSTRACT

The aim of this work is to analyze the impact of financial liberalization on efficiency of

Indian manufacturing industry. After analyzing the data of Indian manufacturing firms post

liberalization, it is seen that there is a downward movement in the efficiency of firms and this

is due to declining trend in efficiency of large and medium size firms.
