FATHER CARGO’S CORNER / RINCON DEL PADRE CARGO

Seeing the desire and the need to come to Mass during the week, I would like to invite everyone to come to Mass on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in September 3 at 5:30pm. I will also hear confessions on those days starting at 5:00 pm. These Masses will be in Spanish with the Homily in English. I would like to encourage you to come to Mass and hopefully take some time and spend time with Jesus. ___________________________________________________________________________________________

Viendo el deseo y la necesidad de venir a Misa durante la semana, Yo quiero invitar-los a venir a Misa los Martes y Jueves empezando el 3 de Septiembre a las 5:30pm. También ha-brá confesiones comenzando a las 5:00 pm esos días. Las Misas serán en Español con la Homilía en Ingles. Yo quiero animar a todos a que puedan asistir a Misa y ojala puedan tomar tiempo de venir y pasar tiempo con Jesucristo.

catechists and the classrooms where they will meet every Wednesday.

Our Lady’s Altar Society will have our membership drive the weekend of August 29 & 30 and September 5 & 6 after 5:30 and 9:30 masses. The objectives of this organization shall be to pro-vide for the Altar for all Masses and liturgical services held by our Pastor. Also, to minister to our Parish’s wellbeing through various social and service projects and to serve as a fellowship for all women of our Parish.

The candidate must be a team player, able to work inde-pendently, be detail oriented, and have at least one (1) year of full charge bookkeeping experience in Quick Books, Payroll, and account reconciliations. Candidates must also have excellent communication and technical skills, includ-ing MS Excel and other MS Office applications. Coming in September: a Scott Hahn bible study entitled

“THE END”; an exciting and informative course on the Book of

Revelation. Join us for this in-depth study developed by Dr.

Scott Hahn, a renowned bible scholar. This study promises ex-

cellent insight into this fascinating book. The intent is to provide

class members with Church teaching on a book which has histori-

cally been misunderstood, and has been open to many miscon-

ceptions.

Hope Center is currently taking applications for a Business Office Assistant. This position is responsible for supporting the Executive Direc-tor, completing financial and bookkeeping functions, and other office management tasks for the center including but not limited to reception duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have pre-vious QuickBooks experience, and general accounting knowledge. This is a part-time position with approximately 10-15 hours a week.
