The Volunteer Coordinator position does not have to change over each year. The Parent Ambassador position

requires a new person each year. Mrs. Harris will find someone if no one volunteers each year.

Call to Order @: 1:03pm

Treasurer: Tina Young & Michelle Collins

Monthly Treasurer Report.

Review reports; current bank balance = $17,219.02. Nothing is outstanding at this time.

Mrs. Harris:

Please share with parents that they can now see our announcements by looking in Powerschool on the

Daily Bulletin, they can also sign-up for an email alert when they are updated through their PS login.

We also started the morning newscast LIVE today…it was super cool!

Hawkbotics are going to World Festival! Congratulations! What date? April 22-24 in St. Louis Please support their fundraising effort of selling donuts every Thursday for $1.

TCAP will be only three days this year. The test will include math, science, and reading. These tests will count for 15% of the students’ semester grade. The eighth grade writing test will be next week.

The scores will not count for anything in regard to students’ grades and are not used for high school placement. A social studies pilot test will be administered after the TCAP testing is complete. This test will not be part of the students’ grades.

An entry office may be built in the main vestibule this summer. Then each visitor won’t have immediate access to the school upon entry. As it is now, visitors have access to the school immediately

upon entry if they don’t report directly to the office.

Next PTO meeting: March 17 at 1:00pm, voting on new PTO officers and begin transitioning positions

Jennifer Johnson:

City Saver Sales ends February 13, 2015. 2 volunteers needed to help distribute books and prizes. No volunteers will be necessary.

New Business: Deon

Question for Mrs Harris: Has all the paperwork been submitted to central office for the

LED/Digital Marquee? She hasn’t seen or signed anything yet.

Deon spoke to Richard yesterday and he hasn’t been able to meet up with Norm yet. Richard came out

and spoke to someone at the school and explained we had 2 bad ballasts in the top of our current marquee which is why it wasn’t working. Since then, they have been replaced so the light works now! Richard needs to know if we are running electric from the building or a step down transmitter (very

expensive)? If it is the step down, he would need to tie another circuit in to the pole to step down to 120 volts. $200-$225. (West Creek High spent $1200-$1500 for a stepdown.)

Janice has been emailing RHS Jr Civitan to change our marquee. So far, no response. Emily Robbins comes over, has she been notified Cathy?

MCR( My Coke Rewards) FOR SCHOOLS PROGRAM CHANGES

The first day of the new MCR for Schools program is January 20th. Here's how the new program will give your school even more value than ever before: Points converted directly to dollars At the end of

each quarter, your school will receive a payment through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) direct deposit. New ways to donate: Our new program will make it easier to get involved and keep the cash flowing. MCR members will be able to add cash to their point donation, or choose to just give cash to

their school. After that date, any remaining points will be converted to cash through our partners at Kula Causes, the world’s largest charitable giving platform. To ensure your school receives its cash donations

as quickly and efficiently as possible, Kula asks that you review/update your school information and provide banking credentials, if these are not already on file. To learn more about Kula, please visit www.kula.com. Must set up banking information AND need a campaign purpose. Possible campaign

Important Program News! The eLabels for Education® program is ending on July 31st, 2015. All purchases of Labels for Education participating products made using an eLabels for Education registered

loyalty card will continue to be deposited into your school’s Labels for Education bank account through July 31st, 2015. After that date you will still be able to clip, submit and earn points for your school with any of the 2,500 Participating Products – as you always have. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER JULY 31,

2015? Question for Amy, please look into this. How It Works:

Electronically collect an additional 1 point for each participating Labels for Education® product

purchased when you use your shopper card at participating retailers. You can still clip and redeem UPCs

to earn the face value of the Labels for Education points.

REGISTER.

Go to eLabelsForEducation.com. Create your profile, enter your shopper card number from a

participating retailer, and then select the school(s) you would like to support.

Sign up now.*

SHOP. SWIPE. EARN.

Each participating product that you purchase from your favorite participating retailer will earn 1 point

that will be credited to your school’s Labels for Education account automatically.

REDEEM.

Your school can redeem points for FREE educational merchandise!

* UPCs with face values higher than 1 point will only be counted as 1 point with the eLabels For

Education program. Remember, eLabels for Education supplements the regular Labels for

Education program, so you can still clip and redeem participating product UPCs to earn the face value of

the Labels for Education points.
