CLAMP LOAD MEASUREMENT

Keep in mind that our clutches are bornfrom performance materials and parts.This makes our clutches a cut above allthe other manufacturers who assembleoriginal equipment materials and partsthen label it as a performance product.

When reading this graph right to left you will see that a new disc has a clamp load of 1550 lbf. Which, if left alone,gradually gains in clamp load as it gets used. Eventually it will achieve peak performance. To claim that they have thehighest clamp load, other clutch companies thin the disc to that specific point of peak performance (1650 lbf). However,unlike the new disc it does not gain clamp load. It loses it, until failure has rapidly occurred.Fidanza clutches not only have a higher clamp load, they get stronger as they wear. So not only do you get a strongerclutch, you get a clutch that will lasts.

Some performance clutch companies take a new clutch andthin out the disc in order to gain more clamp load. Whilethis can increase the clamp load, it rapidly decreases clutchlife. Without the proper testing and equipment, this maylead to an undesirable condition.

Combine carbon and KEVLAR®, give them a steel back-ing and you have the most durable, longest lasting streetclutch available. We’ve engineered our torsion damperand marcel cushion to engage smoothly yet quickly.Perfect for the daily drivers. We recommend this disc tothose who drive their vehicle every day, in all conditions.

Like our lightweight flywheels we choose to use the verybest in materials. That’s why we designed our ThreePoint Two with Kevlar® buttons. With 100% Kevlar® fric-tion you get more grip and more life than the Two PointOne. With the increase in friction you’ll notice a littledrop in drivability and a increase in performance. Evenwithout the marcel the torsion damper gives this disc theability to be used as daily driver. Just behave and bepatient during its 500 mile break-in period. Once that’sover you can be as nasty as you want.

This is one mean clutch. Your footwork better be good,it’s no walk in the park. Just because it has a torsiondamper like the Three Point Two doesn’t mean it driveslike it. Those are ceramic buttons attached to that puck.They provide quite a grip upon engagement. Thatmeans power is planted straight to the pavement. Don’tbe scared though, it’s not going to give you a larger leftleg. Just quicker engagement.

If you choose Five Point Four your either building an allout race car or a rocket. This disc will show you whatgrip really feels like. As you can see there is no torsiondamper, no marcel, and the pads are made from sin-tered iron. What you’ll feel - instantaneous power. Thisis for the racers.

Our steel flywheel differ from the competition by beingnot only durable but serviceable. Another reason theyout perform the competition is that the body is milledfrom a 1045 billet steel slab. The 1045 is a high car-bon steel. It’s incredibly strong and can withstand therigors of the most extreme engines, drivers and condi-tions. Of course all Fidanza steel flywheel include aserviceable 1045 steel insert for the clutch to ride on,which is attached using the highest quality aerospacefastener. We attach the ring gear just like we do withthe aluminum flywheel. Each steel flywheel weighsapproximately the same as the stock piece.

Our aluminum flywheels are made from the highestquality 6061 T6 aluminum. The material is fantastic forstrength, heat dissipation and of course reduction inweight. The friction surface we use is an incrediblystrong 1045 steel. The plates are milled to meet ourhigh specifications. A Fidanza flywheel can mate withany type of clutch material, including organic, kevlar,ceramic, metallic and sintered iron. We attach thereplaceable friction surface with military grade aero-space fasteners. With these replaceable plates there isno need to replace the entire flywheel when the clutchor flywheel is at the end of it’s life, saving time andmoney. The ring gears we use are also made from1050 steel and are heat treated for durability. Thegears are heated then pressed on and secured withgrade 8 button screws. We were the first to utilize astepped dowel system in most of our flywheel applica-tions. This doweling method ensures that once the pres-sure plate is installed the dowels cannot be removedbecause they become locked into place.No chromemoly can compete with the awesome serv-iceability, strength and superior design of Fidanza’s alu-minum flywheels. If there was a better material outthere, we would be using it.

Fidanza adjustable cam gears are made from the high-est quality 6061 T6 aluminum. They are CNC machinedto more exacting tolerances than original gears.Thetooth edges are beveled to increase belt life. Withtwelve degrees (both advance and retard) of laseretched adjustments you can be assured of proper andprecise tuning.The inner ring is designed for strength, function, and pre-cision. Stainless steel studs are threaded through thebackside of the outer gear. The inner gear is then fas-tened with stainless steel nuts and lockwashers. Thisenables an increase in the amount of torque used totighten the fasteners, with no risk of stretching to the alu-minum threads. All chain drive gears have a 1050 steelouter sprocket. All belt drive gears are made from 6061T6 aluminum.

HARDWARE

Built for strength, our flex plates are designed with durability as the numberone priority. Made from a high tensile steel that is milled to .030” thicker thanthe original. This design allows for incredible strength while still allowing forthe flex that is required when the torque convertor balloons. After stamping,the heat treated ring gear is attached with double welds on both sides. Theentire assembly is then yellow zinc plated.

FLEX PLATES

There are so many short throw shifters on the market, however, only Fidanzahas a shifter available that stands out amongst all others. These shifters aremade from the highest quality aluminum and hardened steel. Three dimen-sional imaging and machining are used to get the finest profile for fit andfunctionality. The shorter the throw the quicker you go, and Fidanza will getyou to the finish line first.

SHORT THROW ShiFTER

Fidanza CV Shafts are designed for optimum strengthand performance. Each CV Shaft has a rating of up to300 HP. They incorporate outboard joints that are 30%stronger than stock joints, as well as a 4340-chromemo-ly outer joint stub. The shafts’ center tube is also 30%thicker than standard tubes, and is manufactured fromhigh-tensile steel. Thick, rugged boots are loaded withhigh-temperature, high-pressure synthetic grease to pro-tect and lubricate the CV Joints. All pertinent shaftsinclude an ABS (anti-lock brake system) ring to ensurethe system remains functional on ABS-equipped vehicles.

RETURN POLICY:1. Any unauthorized return will be refused. You must call and receive a RGA number (Return Goods Authorization).

This number must be displayed next to your return address and on the outside of your shipping container.2. Fidanza Engineering Corporation will not accept returns over 30 days. There will be no exceptions.3. Fidanza Engineering Corporation will not issue a cash refund on any merchandise returned. All returns will be used for future orders. 4. Defective merchandise will be exchanged upon receipt of said merchandise.5. There is a 20% restocking fee on accepted returns, this excludes cores and special orders.6. Special ordered items require a 50% deposit and normally are non-returnable. They also can not be canceled due to the fault of Fidanza Engineering Corporation

If the merchandise fails to conform as warranted, deliver or... ship it to seller, freight prepaid, along with proof of purchase and note explaining defect, defective, merchandise will be repaired or replaced free of charge, or credit given at seller’s option. This warranty shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Ohio law.

HIGH PERFORMANCE PARTS, SERVICE AND INFORMATION EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY: Due to the unusual stress placed on high performance parts, and because of the circumstances under which they are often used, high performance parts are

sold without warranty, AS IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, and all warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, or of fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwiseare expressly disclaimed and denied.

NO INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIONS OR AGREEMENTS. There are no agreements outside of this written contract, except as the parties have elsewhere agreed in writing, nor has either party been induced to enter this

agreement as the result of any oral representation or promise. Each party has relied on his own expertise and knowledge in entering this contract and each party acknowledges the consideration for the contract to be valuable and sufficient.

DUTIES:The duty of Fidanza Engineering Corporation to the customer is strictly contractual and shall in no way exceed the duties accepted herein, and where

there appears an ambiguity in the contract language, the same shall be construed to limit the duty of Fidanza Engineering Corporation.

CONSENT TO JURISDICTION:The parties agree that any dispute arising out of parts, service or information provided by Fidanza Engineering Corporation shall

be decided by the courts of the state of Ohio and that no other court shall have jurisdiction over said dispute. Fidanza Engineering Corporation maintains nosales force, service facility or agents outside the state of Ohio.

EMISSION CONTROL COMPLIANCE:Customers are responsible for emission control compliance (if any) of FEC’s engine and/or other components in their locality.
