Del Escritorio del Padre José. En el Evangelio de hoy San Juan nos recuerda de nuestro lugar final lleno de paz, el Cielo. Al meditar sobre las lecturas de hoy le pido a Dios que nos motiven a examinar nuestra gratitud y nuestra relación con nuestros seres queridos. Particularmente hoy que celebramos el fin de semana del Día de las Madres, agradezcamos a la

mujer en nuestras vidas que nos dio el regalo de su Hijo, María la Madre de Dios. Agradezcamos a nuestras Mamás que nos dieron vida. Agradezcamos a las mujeres que nos dieron ejemplos de Fe y Esperanza. Y ciertamente, apreciemos a las mujeres en nuestra vida de ahora que caminan con nosotros en nuestra jornada. Que el Evangelio de hoy nos ayude a tener esa conversación y diálogo con las maravillosas mujeres en nuestras vidas. En lo personal estoy agradecido por mi mamá que está en el cielo y que me enseñó a creer que yo era su hijo y que ella iba a estar ahí a pesar de todo. From the desk of Padre Jose, In our Gospel today, Saint John reminds us of our final place of eternal peace, Heaven. As I meditate on the readings today, I pray they motivate us to examine our gratitude and our relationship with our loved ones. Particularly today as we celebrate Mother’s Day weekend, let us thank the woman in our lives who gave us the gift of her Son: Mary, the Mother of God. Let us thank our Moms who gave us life. Let us thank the women who gave us examples of Faith and Hope. And for sure, let us appreciate the women in our lives right now who are walking with us in our journeys. May the Gospel today help us have that conversation and dialogue with the awesome women in our lives. Personally, I am grateful for my mom who is in heaven and who taught me to believe that no matter what, I was her son and she would always be there for me. I know she keeps her promise even now, in prayer from heaven. Gracias Mama. Please be assured of my prayers for all the women and moms in our community today. May the intercession of our Blessed Mother and her example be with all of us, her children.
