Cloud services can differ according to the re#uirements. The 4rimary service models that are being
deployed are
1) Software as a Service (SaaS)

Through 3aa3, the Consumers can access and use an application provided in the cloud. The Cloud
application services allow the customer to directly run the application on his5her own system without
installing it. Thus the customer need not maintain the software.
2) Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Cloud platform services or 4aa3 deliver a computing platform. The Consumers purchase the access to
the platform thus eliminating the need of having the complete platform.
3) Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)Cloud infrastructure services 7 delivers computer infrastructure,
which includes operating systems, storage, applications and network connectivity but do not control the
cloud infrastructure themselves

TYPES OF C:OUDS
A. Public Clouds
2 public cloud service delivery model provides application and storage available to general public over
internet. These services are either free or are available on pay per usage basis. 1or smaller organiations
with limited budget, this is a good option but it comes with the issue of security.
B. Private Clouds
8ere the infrastructure is completely maintained by one single organiation. The services are offered
within the network for which it is designed, hence it provides a good level of control and security.
8owever, to some extent it belies the logic of cloud computing as the concerned organiation has to take
up the sole responsibility of purchasing and maintaining the software and infrastructure thus affecting
the budget of the company.

C. Community cloud
3uch a cloud permits sharing of infrastructure between several organiations from a specific community
with common concerns, whether managed internally or by a third-party and hosted internally or
externally. :ot as open as the public model , however it still has an edge over the public model as it
allows sharing of financial burden amongst few users
D.ybrid Clouds
2 hybrid cloud is a combination of public and private cloud. 2 hybrid cloud provides cost and scale
benefits of a public cloud while security and control of private cloud. 8ybrid clouds are usually
deployed by organiations willing to push some of their workloads to public clouds either for cloud
bursting purposes or for pro;ects re#uiring faster implementation.

Convenient shopping With easy-to use-interfaces the Customer is in for a royal treatment, with
focused view of the products and with ;ust mouse Click and can proceed towards the shopping.
Easy comparison across different brands5outlets 3ince so many brands and outlets are available
on the internet, it gives the ease to the customer to visit them in few seconds and can compare
and make suitable ;udgement experience.
/lobal trading With internet, user can access outlets across the world and order products which
were otherwise beyond reach. so all kinds of barriers and boundaries are eliminated.
Cost saving =oney saving is possible both for seller and buyer as seller need not actually set up
a brick and mortar outlet. they ;ust need to have a web outlet and reach out to millions of
customers. +uyer also saves in terms of commuting time and easy and #uick access to bargain
deals.
2lthough E-commerce offers bundle of benefits, yet some setbacks are also attached with it. 3ome of

With the benefits outweighing the disadvantages, it is increasingly felt that in the next few years most of
online transactions would take place in the cloud. Companies are trying to woo the customers online by
addressing the customer concerns of online trading and e-commerce in cloud would be the in-thing.
Cloud is basically divided into A phases
%. The first phase combines the software and the operating system into one terminal allowing
communication through Email.
*. The second phase allows the user to connect to world wide web containing million of websites.
A. The third phase is in present where everything will live in the cloud including data and software.

Trust is one of the biggest challenges faced by e-commerce pioneersis human trust. Bsers have
always been skeptical of online trade and with cloud in e-commerce this concern has increased.

=any such concerns are been currently worked upon and this research would also be
directed to identify the concerning issues in the intersection of these two domains.
