Fire Hydrant Systems Fire Hydrant System is a safety

measure or emergency equipment required to fight with fire that comprises a series of components that when assembled together provide a source of water to assist fire authorities in a fire.

Putting it another way, a fire hydrant system is a water supply with a sufficient pressure and flow delivered through pipes throughout a building to strategically located network of Landing valves, Hose reels & Jet monitors for fire-fighting purposes.

Fire Sprinkler Systems Fire Sprinkler Systems are made up from a

series of components including; Stop Valve, Alarm Valve, Fire Sprinkler (head), Alarm Test Valve and Motorized Alarm Bell (Gong).

In addition to this there are additional components that support this arrangement including a Valve Monitor, Pressure Switch and Flow Switch.

This illustration shows only one type of fire sprinkler system however there are other types including dry pipe, pre-action, tail-end, residential and domestic fire sprinkler systems.

Fire Alarm Control Panel Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), or Fire

Alarm Control Unit (FACU), is the controlling component of a Fire Alarm System.

The panel receives information from environmental sensors designed to detect changes associated with fire, monitors their operational integrity and provides for automatic control of equipment, and transmission of information necessary to prepare the facility for fire based on a predetermined sequence.

The panel may also supply electrical energy to operate any associated sensor, control, transmitter, or relay. There are four basic types of panels: coded panels, conventional panels, addressable panels, and multiplex systems.

Co2 Flooding Systems It extinguishes fires using CO2 by suppressing the oxygen content in the

space. The CO2 gas has proven to be a fast acting fire extinguishing agent and

is effective on deep seated fires in cargo holds.

Fire Doors And Safety Doors An emergency exit in a structure is a

special exit for emergencies such as a fire

The combined use of regular and special exits allows for faster evacuation, while it also provides an alternative if the route to the regular exit is blocked by fire, etc.

It is usually a strategically located (e.g. in a stairwell, hallway, or other likely place) outward opening door with a crash bar on it and with exit signs leading to it.

Fire Retardant Chemicals Fire retardant is a substance that

reduces flammability of fuels or delays their combustion.

This includes chemical agents, but may also include substances that work by physical action, such as cooling the fuels, such as fire-fighting foams and fire-retardant gels. 

Fire retardants are commonly used in fire fighting.

Training and Demonstrations Approximately 1 hour classroom training to

group of members of organizations are conducted on basic information of fire, classes of fires, types of fire extinguishers and uses, introduction to fire hydrant system and operating the system, introduction to fire sprinkler system and operating the system, introduction to fire alarm system and operating the system, general rules and instructions, maintenance, government rules and regulations etc.

Live demonstration or actual operating of fire extinguisher, hydrant system, sprinkler system, fire alarm system and other fire fighting systems available in the premises and general instructions about precautions while operating all above system and equipments.
