HAPPY ANNIVERSARY... Carl and Judy Jacobson recentlycelebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on January 2nd with a9-day ski trip to the Sierra Summit. The trip was somewhatbusiness given that both Carl and Judy serve in the ski patrol, withJudy also doing her part in the first aid room. For thework/pleasure trip/anniversary celebration, Carl paid a handsome$30.00 fine.

Buster-Finch is seeking 20-30 volunteers to assist with score keeping an<_ball retrieval for this year's Bowling Tournament for SpecialOlympics in Petaluma on January 23rd, from noon to 4pm.Rotarians and family members are both invited and encouraged togive Buster a call. Loretta Slyh gave up an update on the upcoming visit to our sisterclub in Kagoshima, Japan. At this point, Loretta needs anyone whois interested in going to give her a call.

SPECIAL VOLUNTEER PRESENTATION...

Nancy Aita presented an appreciation plaque to Carl Van Cleave forhis assistance in building the wheelchair ramps at the Steele Lane-School. Al Abramson was fined $15.00 for advertising when h.went into detail as to the origin of the plaque. Dan Davis who wasresponsible for delivering the plaque, was also recognized.

Marilyn Pratt is recovering from recent shoulder surgery. Marilynis available for well-wishers to give a support phone call.

We lost our standing, but notall was lost! We took third place this

year, in the competition with otherservice club's to see who could

raise the most money for our sights of bell-ringing forthe Salvation Army. The SALVATION ARMY is thewinner, however, we raised $648.14 for their
