FM2/FM3 PSR FM4/FM5 PERSCM - 7UCB, November 10, 2005 SCM LDO SCM Pre-Amp Regulator System self-compatibility testing showed SCM susceptibility to power line noise Adding a low drop-out (LDO) regulator removes spikes in time series data and improves the performance in the frequency data SCM currently meets requirements without the regulator. However, adding LDO regulator to Pre-Amp would be risk mitigation for noise seen from the Probes ETU SCM Pre-amp has been modified and tested with the FM2 Instrument Suite. Open Work: Qualification Vibration of modified ETU (Next Week). Approval from SCM given to modify FM2 SCM Preamp and UCB to provide test data. SCM Team will visit UCB and further verify functionality in late November 05 All flight LDO boards are complete and have been inspected.
