REGLAS DE ASISTENCIA A LA MISA La Nave de la Iglesia (iglesia principal) tiene un límite

de 50 personas por misa. Es necesario registrarse para reservar su asiento. Visite nuestro sitio web para inscribirse en su misa preferida.

MASS ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES The Nave of the Church (main church) has

a limit of 50 people per Mass. Sign up is required to reserve your seat. Please visit our

website to sign up for your preferred Mass. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to allow for seating procedure. Check in at table, sanitize hands and

procure mask if needed. Usher will escort you to your seat, (families can sit together) and give you Worship

Aid, (please take Worship aid home with you). Receiving Eucharist - Usher will direct you

(and family) to receive the Eucharist keeping social distancing in mind. Dismissal - Usher will direct parishioners out of Mass keeping social distancing in

mind. Please wait your turn. Bulletins will be passed out as you leave the church.

Pablo escribe: “Porque resolví no saber nada mientras estaba con ustedes, excepto a Jesucristo y éste crucificado. Vine a ti

con debilidad, temor y mucho temblor, y mi mensaje y mi proclamación no fueron con palabras persuasivas de sabiduría, sino con una demostración de poder, para que tu fe no se basara

en la sabiduría humana sino en el poder de Dios” (1 Cor 2: 3-5). Pablo fue a la actual Grecia y Turquía con

humildad, confiando en la gracia de Dios y no en sus propias habilidades o buenas obras. Su proclamación fue fortalecida por los dones, frutos y carismas del Espíritu Santo (ver 1 Corintios 14). Su enfoque de la evangelización y la misión fue humilde, confiado, centrado en la cruz y lleno del Espíritu. Así es como debemos proponer la Fe. "No podemos imponer nuestra fe a

nadie. Tal proselitismo es contrario al Cristianismo. La fe sólo puede desarrollarse en libertad. Pero sí apelamos a la libertad de hombres y mujeres para abrir sus corazones a Dios, para buscarlo, para escuchar su voz," dijo el Papa Benedicto XVI.

A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR - FR. ROBBIE FAVAZZA UNA NOTA DEPARTE DE NUESTRO PARRACO - PADRE ROBBIE FAVAZZA

There has been much debate lately about the approach the Christians have taken over the past two centuries to make converts. I don’t endorse tearing down the institutions of Western Civilization because the Catholic Church helped

establish many of them. You may wish to read How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization by Thomas Woods Jr to learn more about his topic. I don’t advocate

tearing down statues of Juniperro Sera or any other saints for that matter. I doubt very few of us would have acted

differently than our peers if we were living centuries ago. Nevertheless, we must confess our sins and beseech God’s

mercy for the errors of the past. It is appropriate to study the Word of God and critique the approach taken by our spiritual ancestors. St. Paul, the first great evangelizer, did not seek

power or use military might and prowess to vanquish opponents as a precursor to evangelization like Constantine, Charlemagne, and the Spanish conquistadors. Paul writes,

“For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and his crucified. I came to you in weakness and

fear and much trembling, and my message and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God (1 For 2:3-

5).” Paul went to present day Greece and Turkey in humility, trusting in the grace of God and not on his own abilities or

good works. His proclamation was empowered by the gifts, fruit, and charisms of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Corinthians 14).

His approach to evangelization and mission was humble, trusting, cross-centered, and Spirit-filled. This is how we

ought to propose the Faith. "We impose our faith on no one. Such proselytism is contrary to Christianity. Faith can

develop only in freedom. But we do appeal to the freedom of men and women to open their hearts to God, to seek him, to hear his voice,” said Pope Benedict XVI. By the way, this is

the approach that ALPHA takes to the proclamation of the kerygma. We are mindful that a "person can make the

decision to believe only in complete freedom. Christians, however, are called to help people, by word and example, to

find the way to faith (YOUCAT, #354).” How is the Lord calling you to live your

vocation as a missionary disciple?

to Our Youth Group 2020-21 Kickoff Event We are truly blessed to be part of a parish that loves

our youth. Marlin and Cindy Mosby have offered their property to gather the Youth Group young men and women. We are planning to meet at their home and

reconnect with our 7th-12th grade Youth on September 13th from 1:00-3:00.

We will abide by all County and Diocese regulations and will remain outdoors. Parents and their children are both invited. We will plan activities to strengthen our faith and help our Youngsters in their journey to be virtuous. Please wear long pants and solid shoes (no open toe or flip flops please) as we will be walking some trails. Insect spray and a cap may help with

mosquitoes. We will have a snack at the end of our walk. Please bring a rosary. We will have extras. We

do understand any concerns and ask that you PLEASE prayerfully consider attending. If there are questions, please feel free to contact Nancy (407-920-4141) or

Vengan Todos (socialmente distanciados) al Lanzamiento del Grupo de Jóvenes 2020-21

Estamos realmente bendecidos de ser parte de una parroquia que ama a nuestra juventud. Marlin y Cindy Mosby han ofrecido su propiedad para reunir al Grupo

de Jóvenes, hombres y mujeres jóvenes. Estamos planeando reunirnos en su casa y reconectarnos con

nuestros jóvenes de grados escolares de 7 - 12 el 13 de septiembre de 1: 00pm -3: 00pm.

Cumpliremos con todas las regulaciones del condado y la diócesis y permaneceremos al aire libre. Los padres y sus

hijos están invitados. Planificaremos actividades para fortalecer nuestra fe y ayudar a nuestros Jóvenes en su

camino hacia la virtud. Por favor use pantalones largos y zapatos sólidos (por favor no use sandalias o chanclas) ya que caminaremos por algunos senderos. El aerosol

para insectos y una gorra pueden ayudar con los mosquitos. Tendremos un refrigerio al final de nuestra

caminata. Por favor traiga un rosario. Tendremos extras. Entendemos cualquier inquietud y le pedimos que POR
