PHANTASMAGORIA

: (n) a dreamlike succession of things seen or imained, constantly changing in a bizarre or fantastic way

If you could live in the world of your dreams instead of your everyday reality, which would you choose? You will find yourself wondering what is real and what is illusion in this stop motion animation by Emily Kenyon, Hannah Carr, and Molly Garrett of Sleeptalk Studios.

The trio began Sleeptalk Studios in Kansas City, MO in the Fall of 2013. Emily and Han- nah specialize in set, prop, and costume de- sign, while Molly practices multi-disciplinary animation. They completed Phantasmagoria, the studio’s debut film, while attending the Kansas City Art Institute.

COTTONTAIL

Peter is a lonely man living in solitude until he befriends an unlikely character…a stuffed bunny rabbit. As their relationship grows, so do much deeper feelings within him. Follow Peter on a journey of love, lust, and dark- ness in the short film, Cottontail, by Brandon Segelke.

Brandon is also a student at KCAI, and will receive his BFA this May. As a freelance filmmaker, Brandon has worked on countless independent and commercial film projects in Kansas City, including work with the local production studio, t2.
