Fr. Emmanuel, our Pastor, Fr. Clyde, our Associate Pastor, and the staff
of Holy Faith: Deacon Michael, Sr. Adel, Letty, Cristina, Millie, TiAnna,
Katie, Mark, and Scott, wish all our Parishioners and our Visitors
the Spirit of Christmas which is Peace and the Blessing of Christmas
which is Hope, from the Heart of Christmas, Who is Christ.
Merry Christmas!
Dear Parishioners and Visitors,
We Welcome all who come to our doors and thank you for celebrating with us this Christmas.
Now the Spiritual Christmas Season begins. Now that the busy days before Christmas have
come to an end, we can enter into the true Christmas Season, i.e., the Catholic Church’s
Christmas Season that is celebrated for the next several weeks. Now we can reflect upon the
deep meaning of Christmas: of God becoming flesh and dwelling among us. Now we can take
time to pray and prepare ourselves for a new year.
So, the traditional Catholic thing to do is modeled for us in Church during the true Christmas
Season. The decora tions for Christmas will not be removed for the next weeks o f Christmas-
time. Carols and religious Christmas music will be sung. The Scriptures will proclaim various aspects of
the Son of God become flesh in the childhood of Jesus until his time of Baptism. In all this our society has
moved on, but there are deep lessons to be learned during this time. That’s why Fr. John would always
remind us that the spiritual Christmas season begins for us today.
Let us remember Fr. John’s invitation to all: “As we observe the Christmas Season, “I” invite everyone to
savor the beauty of these days and receive the rich blessings of this time. Nothing needs to be bought now,
only sought.” Thank you Fr. John, for all your love and for all you taught us.
