Please take me to read this. The code of conduct is relevant to all school acvies including those that are held off the school grounds. Lansdowne Lile Learners Our transion to school program Lansdowne Lile Learnerswill commence next term for students who start Kindergarten in 2022. The sessions will be held on Thursday mornings every fortnight in Term 3 and every week in Term 4. If you know of any families with children who will be starng school next year please let them know to contact the school. Childrens University Students in 3-6 have been provided with a Childrens University passport. These passports are used to record addional acvies that students do outside of school hours. There will be an excursion to the Taree campus of Newcastle University on Thursday 24 th June for students parcipang in the program. This excursion gives students the opportunity to see first hand the types of learning and careers that are available if you connue learning into university. There will be no cost for this excursion. We will require parents to help transport students to and from the campus. Permission notes will need to be returned to parcipate. Head Lice Please take the me to check your child's hair and treat if there is ANY evidence of head lice. There are a number of cases in both classes, please treat as soon as possible to stop the spread! The canteen will be open on this day for students to order from the menu or purchase the $5 special — Rissoles and Mashed Potato. Year 6 will also hold a cup cake stall at second break, selling cupcakes for $1.00 each. Small Schools Mixed Soccer Gala Day A number of students will represent our school at the PSSA Zone Soccer Gala Day on Friday 18th June at Wingham Sporng Complex. Notes have gone home today with these students. Please return the notes and $5 by Wednesday 16th June to arrange transport for those who need it. Please note our school canteen will be closed on this day! Uniform As the weather cools down please ensure your child is coming to school in warm clothes. Parent Code of Conduct

Attached to this newsletter is a copy of our Parent Code of Conduct. Please take time to read this. The code of conduct is relevant to all school activities including those that are held off the school grounds.

Lansdowne Little Learners

Our transition to school program ‘Lansdowne Little Learners’ will commence next term for students who start Kindergarten in 2022. The sessions will be held on Thursday mornings every fortnight in Term 3 and every week in Term 4. If you know of any families with children who will be starting school next year please let them know to contact the school.

Children’s University

Students in 3-6 have been provided with a Children’s University passport. These passports are used to record additional activities that students do outside of school hours. There will be an excursion to the Taree campus of Newcastle University on Thursday 24th June for students participating in the program. This excursion gives students the opportunity to see first hand the types of learning and careers that are available if you continue learning into university. Dear Parents, Carers and Families

Healthy Harold

Healthy Harold will be visiting the students this Friday 11th June.

All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be visiting Healthy Harold in his Van.

This is a curriculum based program empowering children to make safe and healthy lifestyle choices.

The school has covered the full cost of this program.

NAIDOC Day

This year we will be celebrating NAIDOC Day on Thursday 17th June. We will have an assembly at 12.00pm with Chatham High Schools Aboriginal Dance Groups performing a number of dances for us. Afterwards students will go back to their own classroom and participate in a NAIDOC Activity.

The canteen will be open on this day for students to order from the menu or purchase the $5 special — Rissoles and Mashed Potato.

Year 6 will also hold a cup cake stall at second break, selling cupcakes for $1.00 each.

Small Schools Mixed Soccer Gala Day

A number of students will represent our school at the PSSA Zone Soccer Gala Day on Friday 18th June at Wingham Sporting Complex.

Notes have gone home today with these students. Please return the notes and $5 by Wednesday 16th June to arrange transport for those who need it.

Please note our school canteen will be closed on this day!

Uniform

As the weather cools down please ensure your child is coming to school in warm clothes.

When you access the ‘Make a Payment’ you must

the students name

class

date of birth

These details are entered each time you make a

payment as student information is not held within the

payment system.

This is a secure payment system hosted by Westpac to

ensure that your credit/debit card details are captured

in a secure manner. These details are not passed back

to the school.

Due to the Small Schools Soccer Gala Day on Friday 18th June, the Canteen will again be closed, however it will be open Thursday 17th June instead for our NAIDOC Day celebrations. The special for the day will be Rissoles & Mashed Potato for $5. Year 6 will also have a cup cake stall on this day for their fundraising. All cupcakes will be $1.00 each.
